Just as well no-one claimed that was the reason then isn’t it.Are people living under fascist regimes making 'a mistake'? Just because the authorities have an iron grip over my eighty pounds doesn't mean they are right or correct.
You really are coming across as a spoiled child at this point. You obviously do struggle a bit in the world (evidenced by your confusion with numbers and the car you’ve ended up driving), can you not just accept that this means that you make silly mistakes at some points?
Are you willing to take advice from someone who has started off from a similar place in life to you but managed to negotiate the world far, far better than you have? It seems unlikely, but here goes...
Own your mistakes, learn to accept them as your own, and learn from them. Understand that when everyone thinks that you are wrong then you are probably wrong.
This is how people learn, and get better.0 -
Oh dear - a plain english reply that totally destroys your argument that the rules are arbitrary when they are clearly not arbitrary. All you can do is have a totally pointless rant that rather proves that you have not got any actual real facts or reasons to respond with. What a lot of hot air.
You can say it's reasonable and un-arbitrary until the cow come home, but I note that you are unable to provide me a single reason.... NB the fact that a load of bureaucrats once decided something does not constitute a reason
No - we live in a democracy and therefore the law has to cater for the majority. I don't like paying income tax but the law says that I have to. The law says that the Congestion Charge has to be paid no later than the end of the next charging day - you don't like it but that won't change it.steedoc:75411443 wrote:the law must cater to the rarest individual circumstances0 -
Having just been down to London, I can't understand why anyone would want to drive through London. Everyone seems to be on the edge of a cardiac event (and some how surprised that the roads were gridlocked).0

The reality of travelling into London requires an extended period of payment? Gosh. I didn't realise that. So in reality no-one pays on time? Does this apply else where?brianposter wrote: »This really takes the biscuit for an idiotic response. Many people would pay simply because they had found the facilities to pay.
Have people become so ignorant that they do not understand the realities of travelling ?
how would that work? You could live next to the CC and never need to drive into and not know. Or you could be a normal person and see the proflic signage and at least make enquires as to what that meant regardless of you home location. Anyway, how's the PC removal going?People who live near to the zone are more likely to have prior knowledge about the system from friends relatives and colleagues. Likewise, people who live near the zone are more likely to pop into it and then go home.
Neither of these things are true for people who are visiting the Zone from the provinces at 5.30pm.0
