They don't take anything - it's a standing order that you set up. Payments will continue to be made until you cancel the standing order that you set up.

Thanks,  just cancelled it, thought it was set up as a direct debit.

There does seem to be an issue this month with HTS, as transactions haven't yet appeared in accounts. 

I phoned through earlier and  the advice was either to wait or pay again and one payment would be rejected and re credited to originating back account

We are both named on the Child Tax Credit letter and my wife's Help To Save account is due to mature after 4 years this August. Can I open one in my name as I am named on the Child Tax Credit letter?

I would assume so, both my Husband and I have one - not that he's really aware. I top up every month. I'm sure he'll have a recollection come bonus pay out time :-)

Yes, you can, as long as you meet the criteria at the time of your application.

App update today, helptosave account closed from  06/04
Savings to be paid into account no later than 20/04
aghh I had seen an earlier update a week or two ago suggesting savings paid around 10/04.
Thankfully my oled tv is being re paid as planned.
Why doesn't Gov UK consider continuing with this type of savings account, it's worked for me to save upto 48 months.

Payment is now showing on the account just over a week later so check your accounts today

I'm a few months away from finishing mine, and now my daughter is eligible. If she sets the account up can I use my card to make the payments?
