Yes we have thought about it, but I am not sure the interest is there. Whilst I was not expecting a flood of viewings I did expect more than we have had.
I do not think it is the price looking at others in the area, and is in line with what 5 estate agents suggested (lower than 3 of them). We have had a few people pull up outside who are clearly checking out the outside/area.
I think one mistake was saying ‘only those in a position to proceed’ which we have since removed from the listing, although we have asked the EA to run a sanity check before booking a viewing....
We are not in any great hurry so will leave it a few weeks before re evaluating.20 plus years as a mortgage adviser for Halifax (have now retired), and I have pretty much seen it all....:D0 -
Other than being clean and reasonably tidy, I think staging is a waste of time. Price and location are key as always.
Yes, people are bored with "staging", it is from the era of constant property TV shows, most of which are relegated to re-runs and late night slots now, as much use to the present housing market as old Carry On films would be.0 -

Clearly neither of you sell things for a living and we know for a fact that Crashy hasn't owned a home for almost two decades so it's no surprise you have no idea what you are talking.
When you are selling anything (and particularly something in the typical £200,000 to £400,000 price range) how can you say with a straight face that making it as attractive as possible and to appeal to as many buyers as possible is a waste of time?!?!Every generation blames the one before...
