I went through the newbies section in the hope of such letter above but could not find.

There is no better route. Do wahtever you think is right.

You sent precisely what I wrote, even thought clearly thats nonsense if it is coming from you and meant to be addressed to them?

For example it would be
I require YOU cease processing...

Send them a LBA.

I didnt I just pasted the wrong information above, it should read:


I refer to the cancellation of the above PCN and to your letter dated xxxx.
As this is now cancelled I would advise that you no longer have "reasonable cause" to continue to process my data.
I require that you cease processing my data within 21 days or explain why you cannot. In the latter case this must be supported with reference to your permission to process under the DPA2018 and how this processing is justified.
