I honestly don't get this loser-winner thing.

If Brexit is an unmitigated economic success, we're all winners, no?
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I already know that I'm a loser. I haven't seen any winners yet though. Only people who think they are.

Oh nooo How come you give up so easily ?? Keep fighting to reverse brexit ... But just be aware not to repeat the experience of Gina Miller, George Soros losing money, have not got what they want.

I suggested further up the page that people should perhaps wait & see.
But you seem to have a crystal ball. Hope you don't drop it.

Well I can not drop a crystal ball because I don't have it. But I do not need a crystal ball to know that the arch remoners who keep fighting to reverse brexit will be a loser again at that point.

No. Because all of you the arch remoners have tied the UK negotiators hands frustrating Brexit, taking all of the power that could be used to negotiate with the EU. Just a few to name removing the threat of no-deal brexit, hand in money, fishing right, Intelligence and Security, unilateral right of EU citizen without knowing exactly what the UK will get in return for that hard bargaining power. Nt to mention court challenges, Political votings in the parliament, etc. Nowadays, you could still see some of your representative in the undemocratic representation in the house of lord.

You do all you could to reverse Brexit even though many of you acknowledge it is a democratic decision. It is only until you witness the hard reality such as the overwhelming majority of Brexit party in the EU election, the overwhelming majority of the tories in the recent general election you realize you have lost the fight. Just to remind you the conservative slogan to win the election "Get Brexit Done" .

Now you already realize that after January 31, 23.00 GMT you will become loser again.

You're supposed to be waiting for the promised economic miracle.

Nah.
Let’s not be revisionist about this, I don’t recall many people suggesting Brexit in order to encourage some sort of economic miracle. Although for people like you staring down the barrel of a potentially benign exit from the EU, I do understand why you’d want to propagate that idea now.
The onus was always on those who as a result of the referendum result told anyone and everyone that the U.K. would go into an economic downward spiral to justify it. It’s not up to us happy Leave voters who’s instincts thus far have been proven to be right to justify anything yet.

I do not deny the right to democratic referendums. But if most say that the moon is made of cheese does not mean that it really is.

As a member state of the EU the UK is not an independent country - free to make it own laws, rules and regulations.

You may say that the moon is made of cheese but it does not mean that it really is.
• I’m sure if you really want to Leave it already does. Kowtowing doesn’t feel that great does it? Even as a Remainer I hated the way the EU treated Cameron and don’t even mention how they treated May. In recent years Britain seems to have had no influence in the EU anyways, so I guess we’ve lost nothing in that regard.

Can't wait. I'll be popping the champagne next Friday at 11. Trying to find words to explain how happy I've felt since 10 pm December 12th is difficult. It's like having a weight lifted of you. It is, as it says on the tin, about being back in control. The British are now in control of our own destiny.

I feel like I've won the lottery. Remoaners just go on and on about GDP this and GDP that. It's about none of those things. I don't care if I'm worse off (but I know I won't be) this feeling of freedom is priceless.

But we're not kowtowing to anyone, and as far as I can tell we're not actually gaining any freedom to do anything unless we want to destroy the economy.

Feedom to make our own laws
Freedom to control our own borders
Freedom to make our own trade deals
Freedom to not pay billions to the EU every year
Freedom to determine our own destiny
Freedom not to be a protectionist bloc
Freedom to trade with Africa
Freedom not to dump our agricultural goods on Africa
Freedom not to belong to a corporatist club

Need I go on?

I dare say both deserved it - they went to the EU purely for home crowd grand standing and were met by competent politicians.

I know, the EU is soooooo great.....

So why are you so keen to deny another referendum to let people have their democratic say?

Even the People's Vote campaign have given up on that one.

Let me explain the Bristish electoral system to you. The TORIES won an 80 seat majority. That means the British people have voted (yet again) to leave the EU.

It's O V E R.

The ECJ has been instrumental in protecting UK citizens from the UK governments worst excesses. The daily rags will say all it does is prevent terrorists being deported, but that's just not actually true.

You maybe happy in a Fedralist system but the majority of Brits are not. We want to make our own laws. We don't need protecting from our own government. We do that with our vote.
