Another Hung parliament, Con Dem or Lab Dem SNP?
If Swinson goes in with the Tories, that'll be interesting.
But this is a very tough one to predict, it will come down to how important Brexit is on a constituency level.
Why on earth would Swinson go in with the Tories? Their policies on the main election issue are diametrically opposed. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

Also it worked out very badly for the Lib Dems last time.0 -

In 2017 I voted on the general issues (my recollection is that brexit was not contentious at that time).
This time I’m voting on brexit.
The other issues would only make a difference if there was a show stopper or a choice (which there probably isn’t).
It certainly seems to be high up the agenda.0 -

You'd think...............
I can see her taking a coalition with the Tories in return for being deputy PM, the compromise, another referendum!

Or change it to BXP & the "coalition" demands will be deputy PM, no compromise, full no-deal brexit.
By saying that any transition period MUST be completed by Dec 2020, Bojo has already set himself up for No-Deal.
This is what you are actually voting for.
This is the mandate you will be giving them.0 -

She could go in with the SNP offering another indyref which she could then ignore if she didn’t like the result. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

Given that we are already so closely aligned with the EU, there is little reason why any deal could not be completed in a year. If it doesn’t happen, the most likely cause would be EU intransigence.
But, hey, they wouldn’t do that seeing as we are best buddies and all that. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

The reason that we're in this situation is because we've already proved that we can't stick to deadlines.
If we could, then the NI backstop would never have been a problem as it was only applicable if we hadn't completed the new trade deal.
And do you really think all the "intransigence"would be from the EU?
Nothing from the ERG (or BXP) if they thought we were heading for BRINO?0 -
No, the reason that we're in this situation is because TM capitulated and immediately allowed the EU to "negotiate" withdrawal before negotiating trade when both should (in a sensible scenario) have taken place simultaneously.
Even you surely have to agree that paying your bill before knowing what you're going to get is unusual to say the least?0 -

Not if the bill is for things you have already committed to.0
