Typical EU: let's keep selling ourselves the outdated, inefficient & expensive stuff that nobody else wants for as long as we can while the rest of the world develops cleaner and cheaper equivalents around us.
Can you give an example? Leavers have been droning on for years about how the EU wants to stop them using old inefficient light bulbs, vacuum cleaners and hair dryers. What you are saying contradicts that.
We could do with a database of perceived issues with the EU so that there can be a consensus0 -

More ignorant trope from a hater. Zzzzz....
European car makers are leading the way in EV research and development. If you wish to get a clue - which I doubt - Google VWs ID3 or PSA's e-CMP platform for example. Real cars, real technology, unlike Dyson's fantasies.0 -

It’s clear to everybody that they will never come to an agreement that everyone will agree to
It’s not clear at all.
There may be a deal agreed with the Eu which parliament may or may not agree to.
There may be a delay.
There may be a vote of no confidence,
What makes you think you know and no one else in the world does?
You don’t know and you’ll have to wait like everyone else.
My experience in life is that people who says they don’t know what’s going to happen (such as good IFAs) are the ones that should be listened to.
Those who claim they know what’s going to happen are 100% wrong. They might get lucky, but they don’t know.0 -
I don't know what's actually going going to happen, but I'm pretty confident almost everyone will be unhappy come November 1st0

Somewhere in the EU for Europe, and somewhere in China for China.0

This one is highlighted in the November 2018 issue of Chemistry World - the new framework for regulating biocidal products is considerably more complicated, and costly, than the earlier directive. Companies across the EU have been complaining that it effectively prevents smaller providers of products developing new alternatives, putting in barriers to competition and risking increasing the level of becterial resistance by overuse of existing products.
I'll ignore the "think of the children" bit at the end, it seems like the new regulation is better than the old.

The extra cost is because they are making the producers pay for testing before seeking approval, a cost which would otherwise have been shouldered by the tax payer. So I don't buy the argument.0 -

Of course, because the ERG and their followers want to asset strip the UK. Either they will be upset or the other 99.whatever% of the country will be upset. They are the ones who are holding us to ransom.0
