I find it ironic as it seems to be leave supporters that want to live in the past.
'We saved you in the war!' Iain Duncan Smith fury at Luxembourg insult to Britain
Are you talking about the section 4 non event?0 -
You deny that the man used his child "in any way" above.
Then:
So you accept that the man used his sick child at last, hurrah!
:T :T :T :T
No, you misunderstand. That was the reason he happened to be there. Not the same
I see you now agree that my summary of your view is correct then
If what you are saying is that people in a childrens ward are automatically supposed to just shut up and let Boris get on with his photo opportunity, then again that is pretty offensive. Now forgive me for not taking the time to counter the rest
Of course I forgive you. You covered the most important part, even though you misunderstood0 -
"I'm a diabetic. I rely on insulin, but I still want to leave."
"If the insulin doesn't arrive, for you as a diabetic, you think that's a price worth paying?"
"Yeah I do. Because we voted to leave."

This is what Diabetes.co.uk say:
Would you expect them to say anything different, no matter what the truth was?
Nobody is suggesting that 31st of October will come and instantly there will be no insulin. We'll have to see what happens to their stock pile if we go no deal.
Is what Boris said true?
You heard Jean-Claude Juncker yesterday say that he doesn’t have any emotional attachment to the backstop. Now that is progress - they weren’t saying that a month ago.
I thought they'd been asking the UK for suggestions for months for a legally enforceable alternative to the backstop. It's difficult because every time Boris speaks then I get the feeling he is lying, so I thought I'd check.0 -
With some posters I seriously think that if you said "black" they would automatically say "white".
Another pro-Brexit businessman has put his money where his mouth is I see.Bridgend site to produce Land Rover-inspired Ineos 4x40 -
Sir Jim Ratcliffe"The decision to build in the UK is a significant expression of confidence in British manufacturing," he said.
The Welsh Economy Minister Ken Skates said their work to support Bridgend in the run up to the closure of Ford would "not stop here".
"We will continue to do all we can to attract new business opportunities," he said.
Naysayers move aside, let's have more of the same:T0 -
It's just more good negotiating & they haven't left it to the last minute like failure Boris.
Just so you know, brexit seems to be delaying it more than anything else right now.
Whoops, seems to be more than translational issueMPs in Austria have dealt a blow to the EU's landmark trade deal with South America's economic bloc, by demanding a government veto on the deal.
The draft free trade agreement took 20 years to complete and the EU has described it as its biggest so far.Austria's federation of industry, however, has backed the Mercosur deal, warning against "populist scaremongering and free-trade myths" and insisting that the deal includes a commitment to the Paris Climate Agreement and the fight against deforestation in the Amazon.
So an impasse but who's bullying and pressuring who? I don't know but not all sweetness and roses.0 -

Macron also opposes the deal without a commitment to Paris and agreement to protect the Amazon rainforest.
Or to put it another way, he's worried about the impact of Argentinian beef imports on French farmers. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

You mean individual EU countries have a real say, a vote, even a veto?
That doesn't really fit with brexiteers' rethoric that the EU superstate overrules national interests, does it?0
