Brexit the economy and house prices part 7: Brexit Harder

Let's face it that's what everybody calling for a second referendum wants
Why are you Leavers so scared of asking the public if they still want to leave? Are you worried you'll lose, because the public support isn't there?
If Brexit really is the will of the people, a confirmatory referendum would put an end to all this indecision.0 -

Who said I was a leaver, I actually voted remain and believe we should leave preferably with a deal. In my opinion another referendum will solve nothing and only increase divisions the country is suffering from.
Remain was the best option in 2016 and is still the best option.
Vote Lib Dem or Green.0 -

Vote Lib Dem or Green.
Why split the vote 2 ways, that’s a sure fire way to back Farage.
Vote tactically which mostly means Lib Dem in England.0 -

There was a 2nd vote. The 2017 GE.
Both Tories & Labour said theyd carry out Brexit & got about 90% of vote.
Remain had the chance to vote Lib Dems then to block brexit, but they didnt.
In fact the SNP who are also anti brexit also lost seats despite Scotland being anti brexit. If either (or both) of those parties had enough seats to force a coalition with labour the 'peoples vote' wouldve happened.0 -
When I voted in the GE I didn’t consider brexit to be an issue I was voting on back then.
I assumed that brexit would be implemented.
I didn’t know we would be facing this position where we can’t agree anything and face either no deal or revocation.
Had I realised this I would have voted differently.
My recollection was that brexit was not a big issue 2017.
I voted on the merits of the local candidates which I now regret (with the benefit of hindsight).0 -

It was mainly about brexit as it was only called because the Tories thought they could increase their majority to help push it through.
It was Labour who then moved the goalposts & made it about austerity, mainly due to the fact they dont have a position on brexit. And part of the reason for that is down to that their 2 main heartlands are at polar opposite on the subject. London labour voters ideals are very different to that of the industrial north. So whatever position they were to take would alienate the other.0 -
What a shambles. What a series of dire episodes it's been. Whoever wrote the script for this should've been sacked. We need to get a new team in to re-write this for a better ending.
Talking about Game of Thrones of course0 -

I voted Labour because of its truly game changing manifesto and in the mistaken knowledge that they would enable Brexit as they promised.
Next time round the duplicitous strategy they employed then will not wash and they will have to be honest with their voters.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

But people won’t trust them next time round.
What I like about the Lib Dem’s is they’ve been open and honest about brexit. They weren’t about tuition fees, so maybe parties can recover for the 2nd next time, but for the next time they will have lost trust.
I am certainly switching (already voted) and the locals indicate people doing the same.0
