Brexit the economy and house prices part 7: Brexit Harder

No, of course not.
I meant the white racist socially inept gullible wannabe spitfire pilots who inhabit the noisy table.
Or do you want to pretend that they don't exist? What 17.4m of them?
You're clutching at straws now.
Where did I even suggest that Leavers were a homogeneous group? We know full well that they aren't, otherwise there wouldn't be the constant arguments about what Brexit means.
Some have well thought out reasons for voting as they did.
Some are of the kind I mentioned above.
And as I intimated at the end of my post, I fully expected you to take umbrage my pretending that thick racists don't exist. (Think Nigel Farage & Godfrey Bloom whenever they have been challenged on their views on race...all mock indignation & "How dare you")
While only an idiot would suggest that all Leave voters came to their decision in the same way, only a bigger idiot would deny that there was a concerted effort to attract the low lifes to their side.
Well done. You reverted to type as fully expected.0 -
Remain is a magical mystery tour the route or destination nobody can currently define.
This must win some kind of an award for most ironic statement ever.
The equivalent of "Lets give up what we have now & wander off in the hope of finding something better."Had a Brexiteer reply to me today ...
"WTO is stage one of Brexit, this is what seems to be confusing to people. The agreements with various countries and blocs would be negotiated from that starting point, but without a starting point nothing happens
This is what has been painfully apparent over the last 3 years.
Brexit is a direction, not a single event"
And what happens in the intervening years while these new trade deals are being negotiated?
Don't forget that Jacob Rees Mogg said that it might be 50 years before we get the full benefits of Brexit.
How many people can wait that long?0 -

I notice you have not answered any of my other questions:- Have you ever seen remainers argue over the meaning of remain?
- Had remain won, would we be agonising stuck in a limbo and unable to make up our mind? Or would the outcome of remain have been clear?
- Would remain have avoided this limbo which is paralising the country and making us the laughing stock of Europe? Yes or no??
They are simple yes or no question - come on, it's not too hard. Yes, because... Or: no, because...
If 100 people are in Hyde Park, 48 vote to stay put, 26 want to go to Regent's park and 26 want to go to a pub, what is the majority? Yes, those who want to stay don't have a crystal ball and cannot predict with certainty if it will rain, if the ice cream van will pass by, etc. This doesn't change the fact that the choice to remain is clear and unambiguous; the two alternatives are mutually exclusive.
So even though the majority voted to leave then the minority decide that they won and you get stuck there.
Sounds awfully familiar. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

So how many "thick racist low lifes" made up the 17.4 million?
Ball park figure will do.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
31% of ABC1s are Brexit supporting vs 34% of the overall UK population. (YouGov)0

I don't know. Why don't you have a show of hands at the next Brexit meet up?
Come on Arky, you must have some idea.
You and a few others are obsessed with the thick racist low lifes and their influence on the Brexit vote.
Maybe as much as half the Leave voters were thick racist low lifes, perhaps even 10 million!
Just hazard a guess, go on!“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

I will spell out the point you are so unsuccessfully trying not to fall into. Not all Leave voters are racists, but every racist voted Leave.
If you are in absolute favour of something that people who are indefensibly awful are also in absolute favour of, maybe it's you who needs to interrogate your beliefs abut that thing and not me.0
