I wonder if thats a condition for the June extension.

To do that she would have to announce it before 1 May.

Holding a GE on the day of European Elections would be novel (or stupid) indeed unless we are leaving this week.Sure they were not booking the EU elections?
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

Study confirming the Tory Party doesn't have a future based on its current trajectory.
Centre-right think tank Onward also found only 17 per cent of Tory voters are aged under 45, with only four per cent under 25.

Hardly surprising since the young are most affected by Tory policy.

For some reason I thought the EU elections were at the start of May, but maybe that's the local ones.
23rd May is a red herring then, unless the plan is to host one or the other.

There is apparently talk coming from Brussels that March 2020 is the preferred extension date.

March 2020! Soooo much time for Remain to pluck that stubborn little Leave winkle from its shell.

    Pop!

Tories will hang on because of the people still fighting WW2. Once they peg it then they're sunk.
