BBC seem to think that mays deal will get through on 3rd or 4th attempt.

Clear betrayal of the result of the first two votes.

We don't like giving things back that we stole. I personally think there is an argument for breaking up the UK, at least in terms of EU membership.

I think the second referendum should be called "second meaningful vote" because those you can apparently do as often as you'd like

I wish everyone would stop listening to the anti democratic leave voters.

Maybe we should listen to these people...

Farage made an interesting point, if we stay in the EU then in another ten years there will be a huge majority to leave. Sounds like a plan to me.

You'd be quite happy then to break up Spain and Belgium.

The US can't import chlorine chicken if no-one orders it!

Yes, the Us does have different standards to us, and yes things do have to be ordered before they can be imported.

And you don’t think that the Chicken buyers from Tesco, Asda, Nando, KFC, McDonald’s and the others have not already had meetings with American chicken exporters?

I can’t see any alternative other than going to war.

We’ve still got loads of spitfires and our navy is in reasonable shape

Not sure who we’re fighting or why but that doesn’t normally stop us

Perhaps start with Ireland as it solves the back stop thing

    Prosperity depends on managing uncertainty.

That management of uncertainty involves moving operations away from Britain, involves deciding not to locate an office or production plant in Britain, involves hundreds of decisions that are damaging to the UK.

Nobody is saying it will happen the day after, to load up a container with contaminated meat and get it to UK shores will take a couple of months. Which is why people are a bit worried what customs declarations and checks their shipments that left while we were in the EU will face.

There doesn't seem to be any indication what will happen in the medium term.

If the goods are ready to go (first order from a new customer it can happen very quickly) shipping by container from USA to UK about three weeks.
