I personally think there is an argument for breaking up the UK, at least in terms of EU membership.

    Agree with this.

Leavers can have the whole of Ireland as its geographical location away from the European mainland would be well suited. They could become the 51st state if desired.

The Irish can have Wales, its a similarly wet climate but avoids the faff of an extra sea between them and the continent.

That leaves Scotland and England as "Remainia"

    How about it?

It'd probably just be easier if England and Wales left the UK and EU, and let Scotland/NI continue as is.
There's some sort of odd loophole/precendent that'd allow England/Wales to leave the EU but not Scotland/NI, I think Jersey uses it to be only partially in the EU.

But what about the English and Welsh remainers and the Scottish and Northern Irish leavers? My solution gives everyone what they want.

We are divided more by leave/remain than by nationality.

BBC seem to think that mays deal will get through on 3rd or 4th attempt.

May's tactics seem to be on a par with offering a rancid sandwich to a starving man.

Not hungry enough yet? I'll be back in a few days.....when I've scraped some of the mould off.

I believe NI and Scotland voted remaim by a good margin, while England and Wakes vote leave by a good margin so surely Scotland and NI should remain that would also sole border issue.

Remain leaning English/Welsh and Leave leaning Scots/Irish could just swap round.

We are a bit socialist up here, though, and keen for more productive immigrants.

And your link is not contradicting mine at all.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I wonder why the most parochial and xenophobic country in the U.K. struggles to attract inward migration. Weird one that.

What a ''carry on'' with each day presenting more problems than solutions. I just hope that the UK avoids both a de facto coup from the ERG right or a Marxist nightmare under Corbyn.

One can only guess as to why you chose the link that put U.K. FDI in a more negative light. :)
