Hello Everyone, thanks for your help from before.
I have since received a lot of letters from the debt collectors and just ignored them. Finally I got a Letter of claim about a month a go and I replied. I will attach my reply. Subsequently I received another letter and I am not sure the beat way to go by it. I would really appreciate some advice. They are two PCNs..
I noticed the Tiny Pic website is closed. What other one can I use to attach pictures. Many thanks..0 -
If you are at LBC stage, then that is covered by post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.
And please read CEC16's thread about the hearing in Southampton this week.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello @Couple-mad, thanks for the reply.
I have read post #2, as you have asked. However, I think, I may be a step ahead of what I read. I stand to be corrected.
I got the Letter of claim a while ago and I replied to the letter. I have not been able to successfully upload the letter.
I then, received a reply from them asking that I pay £75 to end the case. There are two PCNs, from inception of this case. So they asked I pay £75 in one of the letters and on the 2nd one they attached a picture of the signage and wrote a letter saying the signage is erected throughout the car park and also that the letter was definitely sent within 14 days. I don’t know how to respond to this and would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.
Many thanks.0 -
Hello everyone,
To bring mu case up to date. I have received a court claim letter and I sent a SAR within within 14 days by post. I have looked through the Newbie and it seems CEL is an easy one to defend, but I did not see any similar case to mine. Also, I noticed where it says send an email to letter to Gladstones or BW xxx, and its confusing for me. At what point do I do this? Please what is the next step after SAR, do I send a defence letter? I truly have gone through the Newbie link but I dont undertand the process. My user name changed, this is my thread0 -

With a Claim Issue Date of 9th January, you had until Tuesday 28th January to file an Acknowledgement of Service.
If you did file an AoS by that date, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 11th February 2020 to file your Defence - that's tomorrow.
When you are happy with the content, your Defence could be filed via email as suggested here:
- Print your Defence.
- Sign it and date it.
- Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
- Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
- Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
- No need to do anything on MCOL, but do check it after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defence received". If not, chase the CCBC until it is.
After filing your Defence, there is more to do... - Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire. Nothing of interest there. Just file it.
- Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CCBC, or download one from the internet - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/form-n180-directions-questionnaire-small-claims-track , and then complete it as described by bargepole in his 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of he NEWBIES thread - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822/newbies-private-parking-ticket-old-or-new-read-these-faqs-first-thankyou"]
- The completed DQ should be returned by email to the CCBC to the same address and in the same way as your Defence was filed earlier.
- Send a copy of your completed DQ to the Claimant - to their address on your Claim Form.
1 - Print your Defence.
-
Thank you so much for these steps, you have made it a lot easier for me.Thank you. I will post my defence for critique0
