I just wanted to share my experience so far on this one.
Sunday
I discovered a CCJ on Sunday, and was shocked as I hadn't received any information about it at all. Like you, it had been served to my previous address.
Monday
I called the Northampton County Court Business Centre to find out who the claimant was. This took perhaps 30 mins all told. You wouldn't need to do this, as you already know who it is.
I requested the application form for the set aside. Within 10 mins of the end of my call, the lovely chap at NCCBC had emailed them over (form is N244, and is available online) along with the guidance notes. I drafted my Witness Statement (the reason why I want the order set aside) and a Draft Order. The very helpful Coupon Mad pointed me in the right direction (search for 6 point set aside order) and Coupon and Nosferatu reviewed it with me when I posted the draft on my thread. I dug out the relevant evidence papers I wanted to send to support my application.
Today
I sent the application form off with the draft Order, Witness Statement and payment. I updated my thread, asked a question about subject access requests and researched that. I have now composed my SAR and will be sending it out tomorrow.
It really hasn't taken too much time to actually do - the people on this board are so helpful (from the Newbies thread to specific help on your own case). It's just reading, re-reading and researching what others have done before.
I decided to take the gamble. I too had a "perfect" credit history (if there is such a thing), and I want to do everything I can to keep it that way.Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

Thankyou for your post, quite helpful!
Sorry if I sound stupid but what exactly is a draft order? And SAR?
I’ll check out those part you’ve mentioned in your post and see how I get on.0 -
I don't think H44MP will be granted a set side, I guess it's a case of if they are prepared to take a gamble with £255!0
