My main concern is with it on my record where it leaves me with getting a mortgage, which will be within the next year.

By the sounds of it I don’t stand much chance for a set aside, and have to unfortunately settle for a satisfied ccj, which I feel is very harsh against me seeing as I had no opportunity to defend myself.

I would suggest that you use a reputable mortgage broker in your area who has inside contacts

    Thankyou,

How do I make sure a marker/note is added to my file ... will this help my situation and look better for my credit?

What do you think my best outcome of this will be?

How do I contact my MP and why do I need to do this?

Sorry i am completely new to all of this!

You write to the credit reference agencies
Your council will tell you who is your local MP

You need to complain to your MP because credit hijacking must be stopped and if you have a Tory MP, you can now show that his/her boss lied

This is very frustrating to be in this position, your right they seem to capitalise on the naive people and I’m one of them in the case!

When you say... ‘make a claim, no defence, apply for judgment in default, granted’ what do you mean by this and how do I go about it....

    Thankyou

Umkomaas means that this is what has happened to you and has happened to many others.

It's how they make a lot of easy money. Mrs May said she was going to stop all this but has obviously failed. This is why you should complain to your MP.

As has already been said, go to a reputable mortgage broker and explain what has happened. Just tell the truth. Point out what our MPs have said in open parliament about this unregulated scam, and you have become an innocent victim. Use the information in red from post 1 of the NEWBIES along with extracts and links to the Sir Gregg Knight bill.
Show that you are not a credit risk.
Show then the underhand tactics these scammers use to destroy people's credit ratings without them even knowing about it.

One family actually became homeless when this happened to them, and it wasn't even their car!

Please let us know how you get on as well.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

Hi, sorry could you send me the links or information about the newbies and sir Greggs Knight bill please?

So in your opinion do you think most lenders will take this into account when I apply for a mortgage? If I put forward what you have said and can prove I am a victim and not a credit risk?

    Thankyou!

Lenders will not understand, they are keyboard punchers and they will see the CCJ

A mortgage broker will be able to speak one to one
  • You say your addresses are up to date, were they at the time of the ""Offence"" if so did you ignore the original invoice etc or did you not get anything.?

At the time my address was my previous one, I wasn’t at the address when the fine was issued. I wasn’t avoiding the fine just no knowledge due to being at a new address

All my addresss are now upto date.
