Big contrast in the weather the last two days, yesterday was a sitting in the garden in the sun experience but today was an indoors with the heating on type of the day. My shopping came yesterday and most of it arrived, weirdly doubles of three items were included such as salmon fillets, and 2 types of cheese. Not much I can do about that and a few things were substituted such as smooth PNB instead of crunchy gah
I got myself a few treats for Easter such as chocolate chip hot X buns and a couple of small bags of mini eggs
Worked today but now off until Monday and feeling glad about that. Hope the weather is decent enough to get out into the garden over the weekend.

Been in the garden quite a bit over the weekend and its starting to look a bit better though still lots to do. I've been having a think about what I can use to deter the local cats from digging up any seeds or plants. There are some old wire hanging baskets in the shed and I could use them to protect the area. I also have a couple of shelves from an old fridge and the grill from a bbq which I can use if I rest them on something so they are a bit off the ground. I might combine that with a couple of beer traps and deter two pests in one. I'd like to get some planting outside done by the weekend if I can as the soil is hopefully starting to warm up a bit at last.
I think all the days have been merging into one a bit as I forgot that Easter involves 2 bank holidays and nearly didn't get the money transferred for the CC payments in time. I've just paid the minimum amount on a couple of cards as I'm still not sure how my finances will be during lockdown. I got an email last week which has made me think that some more bits of work might be cut back to some extent.
I made a cake this morning before starting work as there was a family birthday it wasn't the most successful chocolate cake I've ever made but hopefully edible. I left it outside on a chair and It was collected when they were on their daily exercise. Difficult not being able to celebrate with them though.
