Not had a lot to report, my July work invoice was finally paid on Friday - apparently there was a problem with the finance person's printer and my invoice somehow got missed due to that?  So have paid back some of the money I borrowed from my savings account to cover things like the annual house and contents insurance.  I've still got more to pay back to myself but will do that later this month when some more money trickles in.
I noticed that I've now earned over £1000 in the 2.5 years I've been on Prolific!  I mostly enjoy the surveys on there but am completely over the ones on other sites that involve 20 minutes about broadband or banks.
Tomorrow got an online team meeting to discuss possible options for the project I work in that has lost its funding so hope we are able to find a way forward.

Thanks all :)  TBH I felt a bit down after the meeting, nothing was resolved of course but it seems like the service might have to move from offering free access to those who can't afford it, to a starting point that would be out of reach for anyone on a low income or benefits.  Sadly I think as further austerity kicks in this will be the future for a lot of third sector services if health and social care partnership funding becomes scarcer.

Hmm nearly another week gone by, busy week at work coming up apart from today which is quieter with just one online meeting shortly.  I went brambling this morning with family, tiniest human helped by eating as many as they could lol.  Am planning to make some hedgerow jam or jelly so next to collect will be hips and sloes plus need to get some windfall apples.  Theres a tree at the end of my road so will have a look, hope theres some left as its been windy several days lately.  Checked earlier to see how the Cassis I 'made' is doing and to give it a shake, its looking good, all the sugar has dissolved and its a lovely deep purple colour.
Was meant to go out for lunch with a friend today but that was cancelled as she has had a persistent cough this weekend [insert blue shrieking emoji].  Apparently gone for a covid test so hope thats negative both for her and those shes been in contact with, including me!
Surveys progressing,  I should reach payout on 1poll this week and Prolific is up to £25 so will cash out soon .  I plan to pay more off my CCs this month as have earned more in August than I did in July so should manage more than minimum payments.
I've done an online order from Sainsbo  which will arrive tomorrow evening so need to tweak that a bit as I've thought of more things that I have run out of.
I have an online sale to post later so will pop out and do that after the video meeting.  Its gone colder here and the wind is up now compared to this morning.  My plan is to not put the heating on before October if I can manage that.

Glad to say friend and her OH have both tested negative for Covid so tiny human can return to school as they had been in contact with both and I had been in contact with both tiny humans and their mother.  Brings it home about how easily the virus could be spread as there were others I know of who could have been affected by a different result.
After posting my online sale y'day I checked out a hedge near the railway line and there were far more brambles there than in the woods we were at in the morning so I'll go there to pick some more this week.  There are lots of hips there and I found an elderberry bush so lots of bounty :).  After that I went to check on the apple tree at the end of the road and there was loads of windfall which I collected before it gets squashed on the road or trodden on.  I need to see how many empty jars I've got in my stash :)
I had a busy day at work today, managed about 10 minutes in the garden between meetings then just as I finished work my shopping  was delivered about 40 minutes early.  I'd planned to check online after work and before delivery to see if there were any subs in the shopping but didn't have time.  Was a bit annoyed to find that instead of 300g of blueberries at £3, they'd sent 2x 150g which cost £2 each.  I might see if I can email them about that as if the driver hadn't arrived early I would have handed them back!
Prolific is almost up to £30 now and I'm on £24.85 on 1poll so nearly there.

You can certainly ask for a refund on that shopping replacement, teapot, of course you can.
I'm envious of your energy to go foraging, it sounds brilliant.  My sister was gifted some cooking apples, which she gifted on to me, and I'm going to try to use them tomorrow, with my own rhubarb, and freeze ready to make crumble.
The point you made a few days ago about austerity is going to come true, I think - all sorts of things that we think of a civilised country as having, will gradually disappear, I fear :(

Thanks both, as it happens I didn't need to ask as next day they emailed a voucher for the £1 difference on the blueberries and some veg they substituted.  Of course that means I'll only get that 'money' if I place another order but the voucher is valid for 6 months so no doubt I will.  All the SMs seem to have different rules for refunds and substitutions, I prefer the @sda one where if the sub costs more than the item ordered you are still charged the original price.
The driver did phone to ask if I'd accept the order early but I had my phone on silent as I was on a work video call.  He knocked and asked before he unloaded my shopping so I guess I could have said 'no' come back later but I didn't really have a reason to and he was making other deliveries a few streets away.  I think if you are not in though they just come back at the time of your slot.  I often book late eve slots as they are cheaper for delivery and I think it happens more then.
