Loving the effort you made for Halloween for the THs, thats very sweet. Sorry you're tired - I really admire you managing to do all the preserving, I've made choices about what plants grow in my garden, but I don't manage to do the preserving bit
Hoping to manage apple and quince jelly tomorrow.

Sunny day here and had hoped to be out in the garden and do some clearing but only managed a quick burst to gather up the rhubarb stalks and leaves that have wilted and chop the rose bush down a bit. I was thwarted by various bits of work admin that needed to be attended to. It feels like the amount of admin has increased over the last few weeks and some of it takes quite a bit of time. I'm lucky to have work I know but this is all extra that I don't get paid for. Anyhoo onwards.....
Oldest tiny human had to have a covid test today so will wait and see the result before I go out anywhere as I saw them briefly on Tuesday. Shame as was looking forward to going for a coffee tomorrow with bubble family but that won't happen unless the results are in and even then it depends on whether its negative of course.
Tonight's tea was a sweet potato, mushroom and peanut stew from Riverford, enough left for another day as well, had to adapt it a bit to what I had in the fridge.
Nothing going on financially that I can think of, sent in meter readings this morning. Been watching Autumnwatch, love the mindful clips they include. I can see May Island where the seals and pups are filmed from the beaches round here but have never visited.3 -
I hope all goes well with the test ... I keep thinking it's going to happen to my lot, but it hasn't so far, that I know of anyway. Have a lovely day.

Busy time with work and have been doing an 80 hour certificate training for work as well in my 'spare' time seem to be getting through it ok. Went for a coffee with bubble family this morning and then tiniest tiny human came round to collect their birthday pressie for today so that made for a nice morning. We are moving into Tier 2 tomorrow though I don't think I'll notice much difference. Its too cold to meet people outside for more than about 5 minutes and the hospitality rules are being relaxed a bit which again won't make much difference to me. Good for businesses though I guess. A lot of my friends are still in Tier 3 though so no visits to cafes etc allowed with them. I hope people don't get complacent when we move lower and relax what they've been doing. I've got an online interview this week, its for some self employed work I've been doing for years. Can't remember when I last had a formal interview and never had one online [insert multiple blue shrieky emojis].
Not much going on money wise, I've paid off another credit card totally so that leaves 2 0% cards to go, I do have enough saved to pay them off but had been earning interest on that though not so much nowSeem to have lost my saving mojo as the interest is so low and I don't want to be locking money away at my stage in life. Cashed out £25 on 1poll today so that should arrive in a few weeks. I'm at £55 on Prolific and hope to get to £60 this week and cash out to put towards Ch pressies. I've got a fair bit already but can use that for books which I'm hoping to get online fairly locally - no books shops in my town.
Have picked some chard and carrots from the garden to add to my tea - even remembered to do it before it got dark unlike the other night 🌙1 -
