It must be so difficult - you try to bring your kids up to be alert and to think about things, and this is what's blasting them in the face
I really feel for both children and parents

Had a bit of a shock a couple of days ago as I got an email to say that one of the projects I do my self employed work in has not had its funding renewed. While that has implications for me I also feel angry that a service like that which is run on a shoe string and supports people's mental health in a very deprived area is being threatened at a time when that support is so needed.
There is another service I work in that is having a reorganisation so I don't know if I'll be asked to continue there or not. If I lose them both it will be around a quarter to a third of my income gone.3 -
Sorry to read about the funding implications of this on both levels 😓I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Ouch. Funding cuts to something that helps people's mental health seems to be the last thing that should happen at this time with so many people struggling.
I hope the reorganisation of the other service allows them to keep you.
It is a worry for my work too - charities fund some of my collegues (and myself at times in previous posts). No money coming in for charities (or for the trusts, a drop in investments in a recession) = fewer grants and those there are as for shorter terms.Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Sorry to hear of the funding issues, teapot
I have a nasty feeling that the next few years are going to be even worse than the austerity years
I'm sorry to say.

So many brilliant charities dealing with mental health, child poverty etc are going to struggle even more in these times, sadly
Fingers crossed the other charity can still keep you x
