Virgin media robbing my Grandmother!

I can't see you advancing this unless Virgin agree to settle out-of-court, but that will involve a potentially costly risk to yourself if they do not and you subsequently lose in court.
That is your opinion from a forum I have posted on here, you haven't seen what Virgin have said in their Dead lock Letter or their Company Response Letter and if you did you would change your opinion, they have made many contradicting errors in both, stating different dates etc. and they have provided no evidence!
Also the adjudicator has said that I haven't provided enough evidence to prove that my Granparents have not had the services or that my Dead Grandfather didnt request it, the adjudicor has giving me 30 days to do so if I come accross any new evidence, which I now have as I wasnt aware before that Virgin Media can ONLY be run through cable, which I 100% have evidence that they do not have anywhere near their property that she has lived in for 26years.
She has always paid her Bill by paper Bills that she receives through the post monlthy pays it at her local post office or CO-OP.
Again I repeat I came here to ask for advise and guidance, which a few posters have giving me. I didnt come here to be told how I am going to fail. You have not seen any of my evidence, what Virgin have said or what the Ajudicator has said.
Somehow a "Fun TV" package was added to my Grandparents phone bill at some point - VM have provided no evidence of when or how it was added.
My Grandparents have NEVER had/recieved any sort of equipment or installation from VM - VM have provided no evidence of that it has.
My Grandfather passed away 2011 whom was the account holder and my Grandmother informed them of his passing not long after - VM coninued to Bill her in his name and addressed it to "THE LATE D......... C/O L............."
My Grandparents have had there TV services supplied by SKY since 2002 and have till this date - SKY have provided me with evidence and a statement to say that my Grandparents have used this services since then that has NEVER stopped.0 -
Basically you only want to hear what you want to hear .
All your are doing now is ranting against users that have a different opinion based upon what you have posted.0 -

I don't think you'll get what you want here on an internet forum, as the responses by their very nature are all guesses and opinion. They also rely totally on what you choose to reveal. They therefore are not going to be balanced.
If you want to progress this you need facts and compelling evidence.
You don't appear to have either, going solely on what you have told us.
Sorry.0 -

Not at all. Like I said I came here to find anything I had missed and I did, some very helpful user stated that VM can only be Installed by cable, I did not know this before but do know and I posted earlier to say thank you for that.
I am not ranting I am stating fact that a user can not tell me that I am going to fail over a forum I have posted when they have not seen any evidence with their own eyes that is all.0 -

Has anyone told you that you'll definitely be successful? I don't think they have.
You keep mentioning about Virgin failing to provide evidence, but you've therefore lost sight of the fact that you are the complainant and, as such, it is you who have to provide evidence to support your complaint.
He who asserts must prove, I'm afraid, especially in court.
Do come back telling us Virgin have refunded a decade of subscription fees...0 -
The evidence is the fact that she has never had the services installed or provided. I don’t see how some of the posters aren’t grasping that. Virgin have not provided any proof to support the claims made and have made several errors whilst dealing with the case. She has paid for something she has never received. If people aren’t willing to be helpful in a situation where someone has genuine concern and are seeking advice then refrain from posting. An elderly person can be vulnerable regardless of opinion.0

Sorry.
I posted what has happened not what evidence I have.
Like I said I wanted help with how to prove how they didn't have the service, which I have this evidence as of this morning. That is all.0 -

How do you know all this?
Interesting that you've joined the forum simply to post on this topic.
You are now the THIRD involved poster to join the "debate"
Thanks for your contribution. I'll take my leave...0 -
I know because it’s been said several times.0

I have been doing some research since last night, and can now see that you're correct the only way to run VM is through installation, and I now know that this can only be done by an engineer running cables through a "brown box outside a persons property that connects cables running through walls to a white box on the inside of a persons property that would attach cables to a VM box" I never knew this with being a Sky customer myself!
I have just been round to my Grandmothers one bedroomed bottom floor apartment, I have inspected the inside and outside of her entire property and have taken photographic evidence that there is nothing, apart from a Sky dish on the outside of her property! There is no "brown box" no "white box" no "cables" and never has anything been istalled or fitted that would allow my grandparents to receieve the "equipment" and install or run this theirselves! Her phone line is also just plugged into a standard telephone socket that is it.
Thank you everyone for your help, I beleive that this is the evidence I need win my Grandmothers case!
You're very welcome. Ask Virgin to prove that an engineer visit took place as there is no Virgin Media infrastructure (i.e. there is no cabling) in the property - therefore it is impossible that any cable TV services could be used.0
