Might I suggest this link is added in the OP?

Going direct to that URL seems to be the only way to access this web page.

    "this web page" as in:

Sorry, there is a problem with the service

    Try again later

    Yeah, right.

    Yeah, right.
Still works fine for me. Perhaps they have your number. :)

Wouldn't rule it out - although I tried the link out both not signed in to HMRC, and signed in - as Mrs. P..:)
  • Whenever I try to update or remove any of my accounts that are listed with interest it still errors... did last year too!

    Anyone else?

I have just tried to amend my detailed interest figures and I get the message that you have shown above for some of my accounts. For example I get your message for my Nationwide accounts but I can update or remove my Virgin Money accounts.

I thought we'd discovered some time ago that it's not possible to amend the figures where the account number and sort code is not visible on the HMRC page.

I must have missed this discovery some time ago but I see that this is the case for my accounts.

However, I thought that @Polymaff was getting the error message when he clicked on the link not when he tried to amend the details.

Log in to your account then copy/paste the url into another tab rather than clicking on the link. For some reason that works for me.
This is the only way it works for me after looking on the hmrc site for ages.Like the previous poster said you can only remove them if they show a sort code too then it asks what date you closed the account
  • Apologies if I missed this before:
I can only see estimates of this tax years interest, but nothing about last tax year. Is this the same for you?

Also, for me RBS(Virgin One) shows up as Natwest.

HMRC use last year’s actual as the basis for this year’s estimate. You may be able to update this year’s estimate online. You can also phone them or write to them if you need to update this year because it has resulted in you paying too much tax this year.

Not sure about RBS(Virgin One) showing as NatWest but my First Direct is showing as HSBC.
