Has anyone on here got a comp room at Wynn from the game?

we have enough points but I read somewhere you have to have a US address to be able to redeem
Late to reply, sorry. I stopped getting email reminders of new posts.

We have 4 nights each booked in Oct/Nov this year. The t&c exclude UK visitors, but they told me it is a formality and I have read about lots of people having used the free nights. Last week there were major changes to the game and you now have to be level 2 to be able to see the room rate calendars. Let me know if you need more info and I will try to point you in the right direction.

Not a fan then. I’m sorry you wasted your money.

Fortunately we didn't. Vegas was still cheaper for a hotel than most of our other nights and it proved a decent stop between the good bits!

Yeh I posted about the format changing, it now looks impossible to get to a level where you can book a room without spending money., unless you know of a way

Not without playing all the scratch off events and collecting the chests and wheels religiously all day every day. I’m about half way to retaining level 1 with 19 days to go. (I only got 30 days, some got 90 if they had spent $25) Once I get there, I will have 90 days to get 10,000 crowns for level 2 or 2,500 to maintain level 1.

My plan is to maintain level 1 until I have enough gems for the rooms I want, then do as many scratchers as I can in a short time. I think I will be able to get away with a spend of around $25 to make up the shortfall. Get to level 2, book the rooms and then give it up. We are retired, so it’s not too bad for us. I’ll let you know how it goes.
  • According to ITV news it looks like Thomas Cook will go into administration when the markets open tomorrow morning (7AM) - hope nobody on here had upcoming Vegas flights with them or may be stuck in Vegas right now.
Seen on Twitter that Park MGM Vegas have started cancelling bookings made through TC.

A shame as we have used them from Manchester.

I wonder if anybody else will take over the routes?

I have been playing the game for a short while and have over 2000 gems already.
Took a while to get the hang of playing scratchers to slowly increase my coin stash..once I had a few hundred million it was easy to complete the events. But you do need a good amount to play with to take the “hit” of trying to win 250 million to complete scratchers.

Then last night I blew it...came in from a night out after a few drinks,
Went onto the game and I had 750 million coins to play with.
Got carried away with buying the hyper bonuses and a short while later I had lost the lot.:(
Gems went up quite quickly, but now cannot do scratchers as I don’t have enough coin to complete them.
I have decided to focus on getting a decent amount of coins to play with, rather than hit the 2500 vip points needed to maintain level 1.
I think it is pretty much certain that some cash spend will be required to hit level 2 so you can purchase rooms..to be honest if I get enough gems for say 3 night stay, it is still a cheap stay if I spent £100 on getting the vip points that would make me level 2....when you consider there isn’t even the resort fee to pay, £100 for 3 nights at the Wynn seems a good deal to me.

Brats64, yes, that’s the problem with going on tilt and losing all your bankroll. I play pretty conservatively and try not to go below the point where I can’t complete the scratch cards. We both have a decent bankroll. I don’t do HBHB. Too scary for me. Just stick to games that I know will give me free games when I need them to complete scratch cards.

Just thought that Photome will be laughing his head off because we hardly even gamble when we are in Vegas, and here I am with a gambling strategy in a fake game.

Thanks for that. I didnt know it was 10000 to get to level 2, I could never do that without spending £100, of course that could still be worth it but I think I will plod along and hope just to have enough points for a couple of buffets between us ( its our fav buffet).

I didnt laugh too much about your strategy.

Our next trip wont be till late Aug next year and I have already booked 8 comped nights at Caesers palace, 5 plus 3, so just need to find somewhere for the middle 3 nights hopefully the host I use at California will get us 3 free nights over the middle weekend
  • Reasonably lucky to have been on one of the last Thomas Cook flights back from Vegas into Manchester Airport on Saturday morning. Seems they are asking people booked on TC flights from Vegas (and Los Angeles) to re-book with Virgin Atlantic or BA and they will pay for it, only so many seats available though so can see this being a bit of a hassle for people.
