Can I switch a sole account into a joint account?

Options
I currently have a lot of our household bills coming out of an account in my sole name. We have been long promising to set up a joint account so I'm looking at the Natwest reward account which currently has a decent switching bonus - can I switch my sole account into a new joint account, or would I have to switch to a sole account and then make it joint once its set up (if that is even possible??)
