I have heard recently that betterware just get a standard wage but kleeneze get the profits of the company, as much money as they want to earn. I know a lot of peaople that used to do betterware and avon who have now switched to kleeneze because profits are better than wages!!!0

my mum is a very keen kleeneze distributor. In my opinion the networking side of the business is very similar to being involved in a cult. It's sucked up a huge amount of her time and she's of course very reluctant to leave the business because she thinks that riches are 'just around the corner'. shame.
it can work for some I've heard. But the only people who are earning real money from it are living/breathing/sleeping kleeneze.0 -
Not sure whether I am allowed to do this but I have a site which is all about making and saving money, rather that spend time re-writing some of my tips it may be easier to point you to my site
http://www.illegal - URL.co.uk (remove the space before the hyphen)
The secondary income section has some good survey sites to help you make some extra spending money.
Hope this helps and sorry if I am not supposed to post links but then this forum is supposed to be about making money and i think my site may help a little
No it is not allowed and your site is just full of affiliate URLs, links to amazon, google ads all earning you a commission. MSE forum has a no advertising policy. So reported your spammy post...0 -

i dont want to do avon or anything that i have to go trailing the streets as ive done it before and didnt like it. Im on Jseekers so i cant do mystery shopping even tho wuld love to do it. if i was to do it would i have to come off jseekers? any other things i could do. i already do some clicks and survery sites
I have doen both Avon and Kleeneze in the past and they are both good companies. I always said that if I really needed the income I would probably do Kleeneze again as it's pretty easy to get into, you don't need to worry about meeting people, just drop catalogues and you will get a proportion of orders and gradually build up a customer base - the only problem with them is that you don't get your own patch so could be competing with other sellers (has its advantages too) There is another company called Everyday essential which was set up by a disgruntled Kleeneze operative and this company gives you your own areas. There are other options there are loads of companies out there that do direct sales with a small inital cost. Watch out for the ones that charge you over £100 to join as they will normally take you a lot longer to start making a profit if at all. If you are interested in Party plan there are companies like Body shop direct, Virgin Vie, candle lite (who I believe give you your starter kit for free so there is no initial outlay) I have recently joined Pampered Chef which works for me. You need to look at your target audience, initially with party plan it will be your family and friends so you need to assess their incomes and likely hood of purchase. You can always find hosts other ways too and will eventually get hosts outside of your social circle which makes life easier. Also look at what you are interested in as it will only work if you enjoy it. I love pampered chef products and they seema really good company too (I've only been with them for 2 months) Thier stuff is pricey for some people but then they offer excellent guarantees and as they say you get what you pay for. I can't say for the other companies but they are all pretty much the same.
Of course with all ofthese once you start making a profit they will more than likely effect your jobseekers as will any income.
Good luck in finding your dream earner.0 -
I have been off work for a few weeks with stress and really dont want to go back but need to for the money.
Ive been looking at loads of ways that I can stay at home and earn some money. OH works but I like to earn my own money.
I have tried making cards, which bombed as I was only selling to my Mum and Sister cos I didnt know where else I could sell them. We dont have small gift stores etc where I live to do sale or return and craft fairs arent an option either as I dont seem to fit in with the craft clique! My cards are really nice as well... o well!:o
I also tried selling Clip in hair extensions via ebay but that also bombed as I was making around 30p from each one after all fees and cost of goods, so it wasnt worth it.
What I really would like to do is become a wedding makeup artist, I am trained but dont have the money to buy a full kit of makeup or to set up a website...:p
I really am trying... but nothing seems to work out.
If anyone has any ideas, inspiration or anything please let me know.

From your post I gather that you don't need to work to live, as your OH earns enough money to keep you both, but you would like to earn money too.
If I were you I would look around here as there are lots of ways to earn money. But I would only look at them as a way of earning enough money to buy a makeup kit and start you off on the road to being a wedding makeup artist.
Don't worry about having a web site, wedding make up is a local thing. To be a wedding makeup artist you have to be able to get to the bride. There's no point in having a web site that brides in china will see if you live in Basingstoke.
Concentrate on earning enough money to get you that kit and pay for some local advertising.
Try everything, and find something you like, or don't mind doing, online surveys, rating new bands, daily clicks, whatever you can find. Every penny from them will get you a penny neared to having the tools you need to do what you are trained for.0 -
My OH does earn enough for us but I have a loan that I want to pay off myself.
I really didnt think about the website in the way you mentioned but its so true about what you said!
Do you have any ideas where I can do some advertising as Bridal mags etc are too expensive??
Thanks for your help you are so kind.0 -
Agin bridal mags would be reaching a huge audience and you only need to reach a fraction. How about contacting hotelos and asking about their wedding fayres. Hotels produce their own wedding brochures which would be much cheaper to advertise in.
You could also advertise in the local papers, wedding dress shops, hairdressers - without salons attached.
You could always become a virgin vie rep. You get the kit much cheaper, have parties where you do make overs and sell make up and jewellery.2014 = New Year, New Me0
