Afternoon NMC :) There always seems to be something to pay out for doesn't there :o Frustrating about the phone screen. No idea about things like that, will it cost a lot to replace?

Your spa birthday treat sounds wonderful. I'm sure you'll have a brilliant time even if you are more mindful of your spending.

I'm watching Manhunt as well. Shocked at exactly how long ago Milly Dowler was murdered. Time flies when you're on the outside looking in, but I bet every day feels like a lifetime for the families of those young girls. :(

    Hi tea x

I am hoping it won’t be too much but it’s an iPhone 6s but will get a few quotes. I am so looking forward to it and determined to come home with money in my purse . I have been gripped by it, I know the devastation he caused I just can’t imagine so heartbreaking it’s just good to know there are the good guys out there who bring people like him to justice.

Hope you have had a good day I will pop over to your diary x

Just popping in to update on my day, loving the accountability this diary gives.

A NSD For me and my spends still in tact but I can confess though that I got my little ladies some tights for school but used a m&s gift card I got when joining a healthcare scheme.

Lunch taken to work again and the same for tomorrow. For the first time in 24 years I have no access to or have a credit card balance, it’s kind of strange like a safety net has been taken away but it only gets me into trouble! I dread to think the thousands of pounds I have wasted in my mindless shopping career I never used to see the debt balance just what remaining credit I had to spend, completely insane way of thinking.

Crikey I can waffle but writing it down does reiterate to me how my money management skills were basically non existent and my mindset needed to changed.

Last episode of manhunt so I bid a good night x

    Hi Aaleigha

Thank you for stopping by, yes reading everyone’s diaries for years too never miss a day I always wanted to start one but it was always a “going to do” but never did x

I get paid on Tuesday 15th so wanting to start then I want to plan it over the weekend too to hear that it’s is going well for you I prefer cash to be honest I’m less likely to hand it over xx I struggle to stay in budget for food there’s always something I forget or run out of quickly. My dog is getting old now bless him and hes on medication for athritis poor love, we still make sure he gets his grooming every other month he comes back so relaxed and smells better than us !

Hope you had a lovely day will pop in to your diary x

    Good evening

Wednesday already, the week is flying by. Well I planned a NSD today and a collection came round work for a colleague leaving I only had £1 change so that went in the envelope - I did feel tight but I am not breaking into my £10 note just yet ! So my spends left is £47.00 not too bad.

I went for a walk at lunchtime with my work friend and we didn’t walk into the shopping centre and I left my purse at work progress woo boo.

It was so nice to get some fresh air and catch up. We are doing it again next week.

I had a quick 20 min walk tonight to get my steps in before my OH went to football. It got my thinking in my own thoughts of how debt has consumed and been part of my life for 2 decades. This time last month my credit card balance was £5.3k I could of bought a car with that and I have no idea what I spent it on no idea at all and it actually makes me feel sick. I don’t have designer clothes, shoes, bags (well I have one but my friends bought me my bag for my 40th) a wardrobe packed with clothes and shoes I only buy toiletries and make up when I need them. Anyway I can’t change my past only learn and move on.

I will be going back to my clubbercise class next Tuesday so looking forward I have missed it, this will come out of my entertainment spends. I have increased my childcare vouchers from £100 to £120 from 15th Feb but not sure until begin of feb when I get my wage slip what the difference will be to my monthly pay. The girls go to the after school holiday clubs and as a one off will be going next thus and fri after school so want to make sure I always have enough to cover and have a little buffer . I have more money saved there than I in my saving!

Anyhoo the plans for the weekend are to sort out mine and little ladies wardrobes and drawers they are not very organised and try sort their bedrooms so we can organise their toys and Christmas presents.

Oh I forgot Lunch taken to work again so 3 for this week I am working from home tomorrow so will be from the comfort of my own home.

    Sorry for my wafflings

    Have a fun evening x

you sound like me I too dont break into that tenner or fiver unless I really have to - I find it so much easier to NOT spend cash than I do a debit card

    Now back to you dog

do you massage the joints and do gently physio of bending and stretching the legs and joints also fish oil but get salmon oil for dogs as its more digestible for them and my senile old boy in not in pain *no shaking) and has his moments of doing his 40mph greyhound run and that is with no metacam or tramadol oh and if you dog is on either of those give them milk thistle as it supports the liver (vet told me to use it both before and after op due to painkillers)

use you tube to find relevant vids for doggy massage etc my vet taught me how to do it but she is all for trying these things as they do work for a lot of dogs

you are doing well with those lunches
and good luck with the girls room I remember those days well :):)

Thank you so much for this really appreciate it, it’s like you are describing my dog, yes his back legs do shake and they keep going out for under him but he still try’s and sometimes succeeds to jump etc .. he is on metacam for the last two weeks and since taken it he’s had a spring in his step again so I need to get the milk thistle. he’s 14 this year bless him I will definitely look into all your suggestions this evening x no we have not been massaging him but I am going to look on you tube. Re the vitamins are they from the vets or is there somewhere you can recommend ? We took him on the school run this morning so he’s currently snoring think keeping up with the girls wore him out !!

Thanks again hope you are having a nice day x

We got salmon oil on Amazn and I go to H and B I own for the milk thistle
And get the capsules according to my dogs the drops are disgusting They won't eat if that's in their food

I just hide it in the food

If you don't want to use the fish oil use sardines in oil once or twice a week
ROdders is about eleven not bad for a greyhound and as he is brain damaged and senile I don't think he will keep going a lot longer
But we are going to move to Wales, we keep meeting hurdles, I want him to make Wales but not sure he will
So far his pain seems to be under control but his senility seems to ve getting worse
But I would love him to have a while in the piece and quiet x

I am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed he gets to Wales, its so hard as they are such a big part of the family. We got our furry boy before the girls came along and everyone knows and loves him hes such a fab dog and they are so loyal.

I hope you have a lovely weekend x thanks again x
