Thanks all, I can't take the credit, its a tactical investment/inheritance combination, its just as satisfying and relieving as the first time around if not moreso (when I promptly went and moved 18 months later which i'm not doing this time (she says
)) the ERC % was less than my interest rate therefore it made sense.
its certainly not been plain sailing the last 4 years, moving, leaving a permanent job, retraining and living off hard built savings (but that is what they are there for), regaining my sanity, launching a business during covid, & then getting partly flooded at christmas, yay. i'd like 2021 to be a break please& so Chart 8

Wouldn't we all trix-a-belle!
You've done so well!!
Thanks for the chartdelighted that I am now in the green, at 71.04% of my target, woo hoo! Only about £8k to go - is the end of the challenge a year away? We're currently paying £1500 a month to the mortgage (almost £600 a month overpayment) so we should easily make the target, hooray!

yep 1 year left!
there are some amazing figures posted & any progress no matter how small is brilliant given how we've all been turned upside down- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

I never expected to be in green through any of this challenge when I set my target. Not only am I in green today but it looks likely I will hit my target.
