First OP of £62.06 made so the mortgage now ends 00.00.
You gotta celebrate the small things.
I'm hoping this and a few cheeky updates between now and the end of last year might have me nearly in the green...I've never been far off.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%

Sent my update. My first OP of 2021 has been sent and I'm super excited to see where I end up. I'm hoping to have gained ground and be nearly green. I'll be so excited when I go green. I don't think I'll make it this time, but I think I should do it for the one after...maybe.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Number 59 - just sent my update in. Not much progress made as I was made redundant at the end of September so I put payments on hold using the overpayment bank. I've kept up with some OPs as I didnt want to fall too far behind. Ive started a new job, so hoping I can make OPs again soon!

Just submitted my update, it seems to come round quicker each time! I think I've just squeaked into the green again... down to the last few thousands now! Every month as I do my payday money shufflings I am so tempted to pay the last bit off from savings, and every month I talk myself out of it again! Aiming to have it all paid off by the end of this year.

Update submitted. I should have moved from yellow to green this time! At least I hope so!! I've upped our monthly payment so we're now overpaying £570 a month
so we'd best be green! Balance is now just over £188k - we were aiming for £180k by the end of the challenge so should get there just with the regular monthly payment now, even if I don't throw anything else at it. Woo hoo!
