Been using mine this week - The Town & Country one- I'm dead chuffed with it - I hook an army surplus foraging bag over the side to keep secateurs etc in - and, if you use them, they work really well with a 35 litre gorilla tub (it's very easy to pick them up together). I'm also tempted to add some kind of handle bar tape for easy grip / protecting the paint on gravel
Edited to add: This is the one, my local garden centre had them at £16.99

and something like this is ideal to hang off the side

Had to call it a day, too cold out there, and fairly pointless considering the frost we're likely to get overnight. Last night greenhouse was minus 1.8˚C, Sunday night also looks to be pretty cold, but Monday onwards should be good. I did manage to deadhead the daffs as per Monty's instructions last night so at least I got something done - and picked what I think is bolting brussels sprouts for tea (no actual sprouts, just leaves, tender stalks & buds)

yes it's been too cold out there for me too and I reckon if it's too cold for me the seeds won't like it much either, so have delayed some of my sowing, even if the trays are in my mini greenhouse. The wind has been quite bitter and I'm telling myself the seeds will catch up quickly enough when the temperature warms up.
Have got to the stage where I don't have the energy or enthusiasm to keep resowing so probably better to delay and just do it once !0 -
Had a close shave there!
So glad that I had a wee nosey on here as I'd completely forgotten that I had potted on lots of seedlings and had left them outside!
As I was just about warmed up and in my comfy pyjamas, I very optimistically checked the weather forecast and of course it was dropping to -2.
Phew! Went out and brought them in and starting to warm up again now.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Morning all. The temperature is not expected to rise above seven degrees here today. I may cut the grass later but that will be it outside.
My seedlings indoors are not ready to be potted on so will just be watered.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

I'm biding my time today, it's a really good excuse to stay indoors and be Mr Sensible (got chemo next week). It's kind of galling because it's really sunny out there again. Might break cover in the afternoon, just for an hour or so - I want to see how cold last night got, and I've the gastrobell to finish (all will be revealed if I can get the handle on it)

Thanks to whoever mentioned the kneeling stool. I looked it up and I'm definitely going to treat myself to one.
After hunkering down for ages doing whatever in the garden it took me ages getting up! And I'm only 51! Got dodgy knees and hips though.
I was fortunate enough to buy a Hozelock kneeling stool at a car boot sale yesterday for just £1.50. It's a real boon, because I am never quite sure when kneeling down these days if I will ever get up!
I did quite well overall, with a giant handled tree planter tub for £1 (for sweet potatoes in polytunnel), four large Gardman potato tubs (more like bags, but quite tall) for £2 and 100 small bamboo canes for 50p. There were lots of pots I would have bought but I was in a friend's car so it can wait for another day.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
