So they will resend a copy of the bill produced that indicates £97 is owed, and close the complaint as resolved. That will help with their stats. :T
Sorry, I don't think they will stretch to a birthday card as well, but you never know
(but you didn't ask for one of those did you?)

Apologies, I have no idea how I missed that - it arrived with the birthday card. Oops :eek:givememoney wrote: »Thanks for this but if you read my post thoroughly you will see we did receive a letter, that is what started the ball rolling and the phone call was made by us to Npower.
As I said there's no pressure. I hope you get everything sorted.I will bear in mind what you say about Jen but they are supposed to reply within 28 days to the complaint and we have had an 'on to it' letter, but if we get no satisfaction we may contact her.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. I am pleased to say after talking to Npower today they have agreed to write off the so called debt. They admit their accounting system was at fault. We were first offered a 50% reduction which we refused and told them we didn’t expect to pay anything and they then agreed.0

Amazing how many pensioners receive these from Npower. Almost as if Npower target pensioners as they know they are more likely to just pay up. Never give Npower any bank details they can't be trusted.0
