    Well done Vixstar.

I'm managing to keep reasonably to plan. Kind of feeling that not having planned has taken the pressure off me to stick to plan which is actually resulting in me sticking to plan more. Doesn't totally make sense but at the moment with so much happening and so much stress and worry it is right for me at the moment

A great NSV vixstar. Sounds like you'll soon be able to fit into that dress which is currently a bit snug! Not long to target either.

Kathrynha It often seems that when you relax a bit it is easier to stick to plan and lose, probably better than when you try to stick to it rigidly. A friend of mine has been having problems losing for the last few weeks and last week she relaxed a lot more, particularly about syns and ended up losing 4lb this week! Sounds as though you're doing the right thing for you at the moment.

    Today's plan:

B - stuffed mushroom - couscous, peppers, baby corn chopped, spring onions, mushroom stalks chopped, topped with a little grated cheese

L - ham sandwich with HM coleslaw (0.5 for mayo); pickles
D - Asian salmon with noodles - salmon baked with ginger, garlic, soya & green veg

    HEA - milk in drinks
    HEA2 - cheese (part)
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LTL mayo 0.5; spread 1

    Afternoon everyone.

Congrats to all the losers and welcome elsiepac.

1/2 lb off this week - told you I was a slow loser! I think I'll struggle to reach my 6lb target for this challenge but I'm within target range so I won't be beating myself up.

    Todays menu:
Brunch - 2 slices of toast with lighter cheese triangles, apple. (I've started weighing sliced bread as I believe it's 60g for wholemeal as a HEB?? and adding any additional syns, so 3 extra for today's bread)
D - 2 possibles today - not sure if OH is here for tea. If he is it'll be fish, if not I'll be having steak and all the trimmings!

    Have a good day, all.

  • Hi all :D

Just flying in quickly to report -1 1/2 lbs, happy with that. Had one day of a lot of internal dialogue as I wanted to eat everything :rotfl:, got through it fairly unscathed.

Shouldn't be too much in the week ahead to scupper my plans, just myself :rotfl:

Mindful eating and planning my meals and snacks is working well for me at the moment.

    Xx

17lb to go to target and I can now fit into all the clothes in my wardrobe, I can even get into the dress I bought years ago to slim into (though it's a little snug)

    Great news :j :j

And it’s friday! Phew that was a busy week.

Will be glad to have a couple of days off now. Long journey tomorrow so sat on my bum pretty much most of the day. Will be doing chores all day Sunday, so it’s not all going to be lazy.

    Meal plan today:
    B - banana, satsuma
L - porridge HEB with water & splash of milk from HEA milk, sugar (2)
D - spag Bol with low fat mince & quorn mince (I always do 2/3 meat to 1/3 quorn and the family have never twigged in years) with carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, chopped toms, oxo, seasoning (2 syns for sauce thickener)

Need to plan my food tomorrow for on the road. Tempted to have some cold pasta that’s left over for security.

    Have a good weekend everyone.
