Thanks for that chanie. It's not a brand I know but useful to have a recommendation.:)
So pleased your laptop will have a new lease of life sugarbaby. You've had enough expense recently.:(
Well done on the weightloss Wednesday. It's so motivating when you make progress. It's a great idea to measure as well as weighing.:T
I like the sound of your outfit this morning. Is it a cloth coat you've bought from Tu?
I've got a meeting later so will need to fab up a bit. It'll just be smart casual so probably jeans and something. It is getting cool enough for a jumper of sorts although I'm reluctant to go into full winter mode. I suppose we've been lucky with the temperatures so far as I can certainly remember wearing thick coats for Remembrance Day services in the past.
Two meals out planned this week, lunch tomorrow and dinner on Thursday. I always like to look my best so will plan my outfits. I'm starting to wear a little more make up too. I wore the Clarins Beauty Flash balm on a couple of evening out last week.
It's bright and dry here at the moment. Hope everyone has a good week ahead.0 -
The Ordinary skincare is currently on offer with 23% off. The products are pretty reasonable anyway (e.g. £5-£10 a product and they last for months). I have been using the products for ages now and recommend them.
Thanks. I will look as I keep reading good things online about that brand.:)

It's a bright blue 100% polyester one. I tried to look for a link but it doesn't look like they sell it anymore. I think it was called a boucle coat.0 -

I cannot believe that as I have been eating loads in my 10 hour eating window. I have been roughly calculating how many Weight Watchers points I have been having each day and it's been near 50 or 50+ points most days!!!:o:D
Unbelievable, I would highly recommend Intermittent Fasting if anyone wants to lose weight. The science behind it is undeniable from what I've been reading. It's the easiest "diet" I have ever tried.:T
Here are the free podcasts if anyone is interested.:)

I have to go and get a blood test this morning. I'm going to wear my short black mini dress, leggings, boots and my new blue Tu coat as it is a little chilly. I am supposed to exercise just before breaking my fast (as that is when your body is in fat burning mode) so I will go for a brisk walk beforehand.
Ooh, I can use my new bright blue bag today too as it will match the coat!
Are You seeing the dishy doc today, by any chance?;)"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
(Kabat-Zinn 2004):D:D:D0 -
I just ordered some stuff from The Ordinary to see what all the hype is about.:) Free delivery over £25.
I like that new coat and it matched really well with the bag.Omg that's an amazing weight loss hun.I'll deffo look into it:D

That was quick!!!
I picked up some extra items in my lunchbreak today as well.
I think the products suit my skin as they are just basic ingredients without the extras, which I think its probably what is contributing to my bad skin.
The Ordinary gets lots of good reviews and the products are cheap, so its worth giving it a go. It does look complicated, but there is lots of information on Facebook, if anyone is interested.0 -

Yes, it did seem a bit complex! I ordered the "Buffet" as that got good reviews. Very reasonable in price too. I hope it suits my skin as it is quite sensitive to some products.2025 GOALS

Have just tried one of my new The Ordinary products tonight. I bought a couple of new products but I’m going to introduce them one at a time to see how they suit my skin. The good thing about the products is that they are pretty cheap, so if they aren’t suitable, I haven’t wasted too much money.
I randomly bought a pair of sandals from eBay which arrived at the weekend. They were a great bargain and I will enjoy wearing them over the summer.0 -
Good morning lovely ladies....,,
Busy busy busy here, beavering away. Dining room is really starting to look pretty fab......which is more than can be said for me. :eek:will definitely have to take myself in hand soon. Some serious fabbing is needed. :rotfl:
I will be interested in reading your findings about the Ordinary. It seems to be getting good reviews.
Maman. I was only thinking the other day I need to invest in some Clarins Beauty Flash balm. I tend to use it more in the winter and I ran out earlier in the summer. Are there are any good offers out there.
Well yesterday was great, nice little windfall. I finally got a refund of £130 that I had been chasing for an overpayment on some insurance and I sold some "treasures" and made £25, just on some old tat.
As we have made a family pact not to go mad on presents - only a small token gesture each - I think I should be able to cover most of Christmas with my windfall because I have already bought quite a few presents throughout the year so am quite ahead already.
Wednesday.....that Dr Chattergee speaks a lot of sense. I like his book. Following our natural circadian rhythms rather than trying to fight them. I have gone back to allowing myself a proper rest/nap in the afternoon. I feel so much better. I'm sleeping better at night and that awful exhaustion is much improved.
Today I have decided to go back on IF (intermittent fasting), going for a 10/14. I find that very easy and it really does seem to help my tummy issues, giving my digestive system time to rest. I don't get hungry as long as I cut out the starchy carbs. I do still eat carbs but mainly green ones, ie fruit and veg. Starchy carbs just make me feel ill, bloated and uncomfortable whilst at the same time leaving me feeling ravenous.
Grey and dull here. Will do another couple hours painting and then just take it easy. Bath, nice dinner and then Netflix or my book.

Hello Ladies,
I had a lot of fun last weekend going to see a play and going to Karaoke.
On Saturday I went to see Ages Of The Moon at The Vaults Theatre in Waterloo. I bought my premium ticket online using a Travelzoo code, so the £37.50 ticket only cost me £15. I saved myself £22.50.As I was a premium ticket holder I got a free programme worth £5.
The cast only consists of 2 male actors Christopher Fairbank (Ames) and Joseph Marcell. (Byron) who were both excellent in their respective roles.
The play is a gruff, affecting and funny play by Sam Shepard. Byron and Ames are old friends, reunited by mutual desperation. Over bourbon on ice, they sit, reflect and bicker until fifty years of love, friendship and rivalry are put to the test at the barrel of a gun.
I was captivated by the 2 men as soon as the play began and I was kept fully engaged until the last word of the play. I would give this play 9/10
On Sunday evening I had a really enjoyable time at Karaoke. I sang 4 of my usual songs; Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, The Wonder Of You, No Matter What and Make You Feel My Love.
I finally got my laptop returned to me last night in working order but with some issues.I will have to invest in a new laptop in January 2020.

I just went to hand in a donation bag and then had a mooch around the charity shops.
I got a M&S navy jumper and a navy and black New Look mini skirt from the £1 charity shop. I got a Jasper Conran burgandy jumper in there too. The jumper was in the men's section but it was a small so I will wear it. I got a red knee length M&S dress in the PDSA shop. I also got a little wooden cat statue for my living room.
I wanted to get some long sleeved tops to layer up now its colder but they were all in beige/ dreary colours.lessonlearned wrote: »Wednesday.....that Dr Chattergee speaks a lot of sense. I'm finding it very simple to follow. I realised that I was eating for almost 15 hours a day before, which is apparently quite common!
I would note down your measurements to see if they change with IF. I've lost an inch from my waist since last week now as well as the two inches from my hips.
I do have to say that I start to feel very hungry between 11 am and midday, though. My stomach is growling before my first meal of the day.:rotfl:2025 GOALS
