Number 37 checking in with 57%
Wow, this is going faster than I thought it would. The act of just sitting with my budget at the start of every month and moving what I haven't spent to my savings is really making a big difference. I have also done some extra work which helps a lot as well. Actually just having the savings accounts and putting the money in that makes it much clearer that that is not to be touched.NST January Turtles number 250 -

#25 could I change my target please? Job change means I need to be more realistic. I’ve set myself 16,000 total instead. Making 1% 160 pounds, I’m at 6% and it’s much more motivating. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

#43 Checking in now at 2%
Just paying a little extra each month from my wages hoping to sell some stuff soon to pay extra0 -
Paid off 3.2%, or 518.15 in April, leaving 15,088.45
Total % is now 8.5% #42 danthewelder.
Very glad I started this challenge. I've been helping the wife pay hers off too and we're almost finished with hers, she'd already made better progress than I had realised which was a bonus, so I should be able to kick into gear over the next few months.
I've started a switch to NatWest, so that £175 will go straight towards.
My minimum payments are around 1.6% so my current aim is to at least double that each month.0
