Jwil I need to lose 50lbs to get under 40. Ridiculous. I’m going to enjoy my weekend and then come Monday make a massive effort to get my !!!!!! in gear. Let’s do this !!
V the Cambridge diet works for me when I manage to get on it. The removal of food makes it much easier to stick to. It’s expensive though. I have however enough products for 4 weeks and I can easily lose about 29lbs in that. So boot my backside if I’m not reporting that I’m doing well.

Today DD and I have cleared out the loft. Crazy I know but really needed doing. I have 17 suitcases!!’ Who even does that? DD can take a set when she leaves. I just kept buying them as I can’t get up the loft. Another thing I can’t do because I’m fat 🙄. Anyway, it’s a good job done any the 3 Christmas trees we don’t need have gone in to the summer house to get binned along with everything else. They are broken so dunno why I kept them.

Family bingo tonight in zoom so that should be fun. Kids are absolutely useless at doing the shopping. They dint try and budget at all and buy extras. I managed to get a click and collect shop from Wednesday so DD will go and pick that up as 8 miles away. I’ll be working.
I hope you’re all surviving the lockdown and staying safe xx

Yes, mine is around that too :(  It's so hard to stay motivated!  I'm terrible for stress/emotional eating, that is my biggest downfall and one that I continuously fail to control.

Have fun with the bingo :)

I’m same. Total emotional eater. Doesn’t matter if I’m happy, sad, whatever? I just eat. I really have to do the removal of food thing. I have just ate lasagne, baked potato with butter, bit of iced gingerbread and a twirl!!! Really! Now on the Prosecco . I really really need to start again Monday. No point saying I’ll do it tomorrow coz I won’t.

just bought DD and her BF a shark hoover. I was buying her it when she moved in her flat but down by over £100 this weekend so I just got it just now. Anyway bye for now. Take care xx
  • Good Morning. Back to work today. The commute down the stairs was a nightmare and took 3 minutes today instead of the usual two due to the volume of stuff waiting to go back up the loft. Hopefully a task that can get done later today when I finish work.
I ironed everything in sight at the weekend and I have 37 pairs of trousers in my wardrobe at least 15 are black . That is an absolute disgrace. I also have 23 dresses and 8 skirts. I'm honestly disgusted at myself but I can't bring myself to give any to charity shop as I like them all. To be fair some of them are too small and will take a stone or two before I get in to them. This only size 20 clothes. I have three large bin bags of size 18's and two large holdalls of 16's. I have the cheek to say I have nothing to wear as well !! It's ridiculous. I am determined to get his weight off once and for all and all those clothes will eventually make their way in to the charity shop. I will try really hard when my weight is going down not to buy anything that I don't need.
I also have an issue with shoes. I have about 40 pairs. I actually hate shoes and I think that's why I buy so many. I'm always hoping to find something super comfortable and I rarely do. I have about 30 handbags as well but in my defence most of those have been bought for me as gifts. I feel ashamed at times at the glut of 'stuff' that I have when so many people have so little but I think I am learning where the £23k went to on my credit cards. I know some was when I got my kitchen and bathroom fitted but probably most of it was on 'stuff' that I don't even need and have bought myself to make me feel better.
Yesterday was a NSD and day 1 of healthy eating. Both successful. I also up-cycled an old table to use for my laptop instead of buying a desk so another saving. Coming on this site just kicks me into reality so I just need to keep trying to come on and report the good, the bad and the ugly of my life.

Have a good day all. Stay safe and take care xx

Glad day 1 went well and well done on the upcycling!

I found Marie Kondo's advice really useful when sorting my clothes - the stuff that I didn't like when wearing or was uncomfortable was much easier to get rid of.  At least as you lose weight you know you've got enough to keep you going, then you can splash out on a new wardrobe once you get to your desired weight.

  • day 2 under my belt except for one small piece of pakora. I am very hungry though . It’ll feel better soon I’m sure. Onwards and downwards ha ha
I had a quick look before at Kondo. I did some clothes culling at that time but then a friend who had lost loss of weight gave me her entire wardrobe. It was all really nice per una and other nice brands. I couldn’t get rid of it. It’s all gorgeous and just my style info ever get in to them . If I could lose another three stones then the majority would fit. So I need to do this. The diet costs me over £100 per month so I need to do it properly and stop eating everything in sight. I have enough products as I said for a month so if I’m not on track by then then I will try another alternative.
I hope all is well with everyone. Xx

  • On day 4of Cambridge and although not 100% I'm doing pretty well. I'll have a good weight loss on Monday if I keep this up. I'm training to start a new job on Monday. Same department but due to COVID I have been redeployed. I'm delighted to be honest as I can make a real difference but I have two days to learn the job and I am so stressed it's ridiculous. My neighbours dog barked for 20 minutes today and I ended up screaming at it to shut the f up. This just resulted in all the local dogs barking  and then my gardener turned up and started cutting my grass. I was on an online tech talk , I was stressed and hot and I nearly burst in to tears. I will be zen tomorrow and prepared by Monday. The folks I will be helping are in a far worse position than I am . I might be sectioned by then mind you. This working from home isn't easy but at least I am working and still earning, so many people are not
So NSD today. Pleased with that. I'm hoping to get to end of month and have some money left for a change. One upside of not getting out is that I can't spend anything and saving £9 per day in fares. I need to try and get my outgoings down whilst I'm stuck in as I have a tax bill that is being coded this year so I'll be paying £80 extra tax per month and things are already quite tight. Oh well, only myself to blame.
Another three weeks in lockdown !! I hope everyone is safe and well xx

Good luck with the new role.  It is difficult working at home.
