We're moving house so have made a good start, but I know there'll be more to do as we start packing and subsequently unpack. I'd rather not have to fill our house with storage furniture if we can help it!

I'm away this weekend, so will organise myself to start on New Year's Day, after our family walk.

Didn't actually throw much away yesterday but started sorting enormous pile of family photos (some of mine, some of mothers and some I had completely forgotten about in drawer under the bed) , lots of duplicates which will go and then we will select the best to keep.

PS agree with poster above, not getting any younger and this is the time to do it! First pension arriving Monday

I am going to join I need to get on top off the clutter in this house we have far to much stuff. I am going to have a go at the bedrooms today mine and dd I want to get on top of it and then put in to practice one thing in one thing out I am not going to keep count but I could get rid of tons

I would like to join please I like the idea of 2019 things in 2019!

My aim is to sort out 1 drawer/cupboard/shelf a day. I decided in the middle of 2018 that I needed to declutter my house, I had 1 room full of carp that was meant to be a toy room for my son. So I eventually sorted 90% of that room out and it is now a toy room but there's a few drawers in there that need decluttering.

Yesterday I put a few bits up on FB for sale and free and got rid of a few of them (can I start my 2019 list now?) If so that would be 8 items gone! I have a bag full of toys that my son no longer plays with to either give away to my brothers little ones or sell on FB

I also have a friend collecting an old vaccum later on today so that will be number 8 gone

1 - 3 old air freshners that I can't use
4 - box of straws I've had for years
5 - 2 psarkling candle
6 - 7 2 cups
8- vaccum
