Good heavens MrsSD - that was a drastic bit of decluttering! I'm pleased you got home without further incident and got replacement glasses so quickly. I would have had a headache in no time if it had been me.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Friday was another bright & breezy day with clear blue skies & sunshine. DH drove me to P.O. to pick up a parcel - DH’s new project - a coffee grinder. He then started on the hose pipe box. I cleared down a few programmes from my planner. Took the 2 loads of washing off the line, folded & put away. Walked to sm & saw a dozen plus Greylag Geese, a dozen plus Canada geese, 2 swans, 2 coots, 2 mallards, a tufted duck, a crested grebe & dozens of seagulls. Dinner was pork steaks, mash & green beans. The correct celebs got through to the Masterchef semi finals

1034-1071 records to a friend.
1072-1073 photo albums thrown away
1074-1075 some of the piles of photos sorted and some thrown away.

I haven't done much the last couple of days: yesterday I weeded a garden run containing my little bay tree, sadly threw out a bucket of cyclone corms which had filled with water and killed the plants (which will teach me to keep in top of transplanting, I hope) answered another little patch of border. The day before I finished a bag of compost and got rid of 4 bags of bulbs that had gone soft.
I managed to save a few bulbs - same problem as above.
Also 5 bits of paper gone.
There won't be much this weekend as I'll be at work till tomorrow morning, then back at work in the afternoon - maybe see you all on Monday?I

LoL . I never go on holiday without a spare pair Mrs SD. I broke a pair falling over in San Francisco and lost a pair canoing on a river in Canada. :rotfl: We overturned when a gust of water forced us into branches at the side. We tried to stop ourselves hitting the branch and tipped over.
The reading will be a winter project when I can't get out on the allotment.
I have done no decluttering since we came back this week but we have cleared DD room out completely and are laying floor and redecorating I hope someone takes the carpet I have taken up.
Lots of stuff will go as furniture and my craft supplies from the RoD gets moved over. Once done we are going to decorate the RoD and set it up as a guest room.
