Are you talking about empty flower pots?If so i saw a great picture of flower pots hung in an old tight leg.:) ************
Not pots but will remember, no this is cut down plastic milk bottles, have to keep handles on and cut around in front of them. 2 more courgettes picked today and load of diddy toms, the hanging ones have just about ended but the big upright one has 5 big green ones on, will leave to see if they ripen, if not will pick and put into a bag. Nothing much else done but after cooking will de-clutter some food. Took me a min or two to remember who Justin was - relative of Ron xxx0 -

Friday was a glorious day - warm sunshine in blue skies. DSis washed her old pillows - 3 loads which she has put on the airer outside. DH has cemented in the other half of the course of bricks round the garden bed & will be doing the tidying today after watching MotoGP Qualifying. He will also cement in a stick in the ground solar light. I sorted out a few personal bits on the phone - including a Lung Health check which is currently being offered, finished my TaB competition entries. The only other thing I did was cook up the first lot of Bramleys in honey & cinnamon - bagged & frozen. Dinner was various hm goodies from the freezer - DH & DSis had hm fish pie & green beans & I had hm beef & ale pie & green beans - yummy 🤤
DSis & I watched the last episode of Downton Abbey - happy endings all round :T Now we just have to get our ‘arrises in gear & go to the cinema :rotfl:
Saturday is yet another glorious day - lovely & warm - one of the the benefits of having a south facing garden is that the living room gets warm :T
Have sorted my post but I need to cook the rest of the Bramleys today - unfortunately I am struggling for freezer spaceI am trying to run down the kitchen freezer as I absolutely have to defrost it  The only trouble is it is a fridge/freezer so I have to leave it on whilst defrosting  I know, I know completely the wrong way to defrost
but needs must when the devil drives
Oh a bit of good news - DSis is enamoured of her new mattress :rotfl: She got up yesterday with absolutely no aches & pains :T
At the moment my Decluttering Mojo is noticeable by its absence :rotfl: I am sure it will come back but I seem to have stalled - my excuse is that the weather is too nice :rotfl: not that I need an excuse :rotfl:
3274 - 3282 Two lots of cardboard packaging, 0.25” paperwork, 3 drinks cans, glass bottle & metal lid, 2 magazines - Recycled
3283 Bag of kitchen detritus (peelings composted or put in wormery) - Binned
Gold Star ⭐️ for you TamsinC :T for declining the cookery books :T An excellent reason for decluttering by the way
You did make me :rotfl: whmf00001 - can I join you in the ‘Thinking Room’ :rotfl: Ron & Justin :rotfl: we must all try to put them on the ‘naughty step’ :rotfl:
You are more than welcome oceanspiritTry to admire your empty spaces
you have worked hard for them :T
Happy news about your mouth IrishRose12That bite sounds horrendous _pale_ so I hope you can get it sorted out ASAP after all it is hindering your decluttering - ha ha - only joking 🙃
Excellent work bit by bit :T I take it the Room of Doom will be your DD’s bedroom? I must admit to getting very excited about your sewing room:j
Sounds absolutely revolting parsniphead _pale_ but less revolting as it worked
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend - whether you are decluttering or not

Mrs SD,
Thank you for my gold star.. definitely motivating. Been ill last couple of days so taking it easy but since last post
222 - 224 ( I think) - electronic clutter - not just emails but storage on phone and PC. Alot more to go
225 -227 kettle and jackets to CS
228 - paperwork
229 - important email sent
230 - 231 - large quantity of papers returned to banks for them to shred
232 Old hair product - full so hard to part with but too old
Have a large pile of baskets/tins /make up bags for my daughter to choose from but she's staying with boyfriend for a while so piled up in a corner but I take note of your question Mrs SD and think at least half will go to the CS.
Going to have to speed up at some point. Realise I don't want friends to come round because of the clutter. And good reminder about the boxes - I used to do fly lady but the keeping a box for each room and not going and putting one or two things away but waiting until full is excellent, and I know I waste time moving a few things at a time0 -

Saturday continued to be a glorious day - warm sunshine in blue skies :T. DH cemented the back of the course of bricks & the stick in the ground solar light. We also used up several bags of compost & top soil to top up the new walled garden bed - unfortunately need several more sacksDinner was another item from the freezer - los from a chicken dish that DSis cooked, last of the potatoes (which ended up pur!ed rather than mashed ) with mixed vegetables followed by apple & blackberry crumble (from the freezer) with custard. As you can see I am trying hard to use the contents of the freezer :rotfl:

Morning MrsSD and fellow declutterers, only a small amount of decluttering done yesterday. Six pairs of shoes which our daughter has grown out of along with two packed lunch boxes and a couple of old tops which are too small for our daughter as well. Been on with a lot of household stuff yesterday just to help my mind focus as it's been a tough week this week in coping with my wife's anxiety/low mood and irregular hours at work with her being a nurse. I do find that from time to time a couple of hours of focused decluttering and tidying/cleaning can help my mind. Still lots more to do, the attic is in dire need of a declutter along with the book shelves in the living room. Thank you MrsSD for the decluttering tips, done good things there. IrishRose/MrsSD - I took the old uniform to the tip in the end and took out all the name tapes, the school has lots of spare uniform now (too much) and is now appealing for parents to get in touch with them if they find their children has missing uniform.0

afternoon all
Got hubby clearing out some of his old work clothes and we are now 5 out of date suits lighter
All packed and ready to drop off at local charity shop when back in town. Now for the rest of his stuff to be sorted.
Have listed a good few items on ebay to clear out some ornaments old bits jewellery etc. If it doesn't sell its for the charity shop by end of the month.0 -
Thanks Mrs SD,
Embarrassed when a neighbour who helps with DIY popped round unannounced ( doing to help next week) and I always have to apologise for the chaos - realise I have to step up the decluttering but find it hard to part with books/ crockery and glassware (collect coloured glass so have glassed in blue/purple/ green/ amber/ red etc and every shape/ jewellery /cookware). I have quite a big house so you can move around but things aren't easy to find, and just looks very bitty!
Anyway I think I have to be more generous about giving things away.
233 magazine (one delivered to someone who doesn't live here)
234 - 235 parcels returned
236 letter posted
237 old receipts thrown out
238 newspapers taken to cat refuge
239 old pens out
240 stale food out
I've done some cleaning and putting things in the right place.
I will get to that 250 sometime this week!0 -

Nice to see you leeladSorry to hear your wife is finding life a bit difficult at the moment but with your support she will come out the other side. Shame about the uniform, but you tried
I will have to remember that ‘Focussed Decluttering’ :T
Well Done sweetpea26 :T nice to see you have got your hubby on board :T Fingers crossed 🤞 for lots of sales
TC77, I bet the neighbour doesn’t even noticeJust think 🤔 when you have decluttered - you will be able to display your collections of coloured glass to their best advantage
I foresee 300 by the end of the month
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend
