I just went through my fridge and cupboards to look if anything was out of date. I threw quite a few things away. Eek, must not have done that in a while.

How do you have so many carrier bags - do you reuse them?

Hubby has saved them some of them are years old, bags from various travels over the years or from "posh" shops or shops you don't go into that often. For example, Florida 2000, Goonhilly 2002, Mexico 2006, Ben Nevis 2009, Lands End 2012, Egypt 2014, Turkey 2016, Corfu 2016, Edinburgh 2018, Lake District 2018. Harrods and Fortnum & Mason, The Disney Store, Hamleys

There is still about another 200 to sort through although I must admit even I did not realise we had that many, they were neatly folded in a plastic box in the garage.

I use them in the chest freezer, chicken bag, fish bag, pork bag, beef bag, BBQ bag and so on

    Tennis, got bored with that.
Cricket, not the same without Glenn Mcggrath, I know he is Australian and retired but I like his style.

I spent a long time reorganising a bookcase, not something that you should really do when decluttering/minimalist get,but needs must. I emptied a chest of drawers full of my beads etc onto the bookcase and moved that bigger chest of drawers out ready for selling and a smaller one into its place. Plans are afoot but will take time.

    Evening.
Not much done today, done some gardening, cleaned the solar fountain we own, butthats about it TBH.

I did intend to do a bit more out in the garden bit it was just too warm today to do any more so sat outside and started a new book instead.

I did declutter an ice-cream tub from the freezer and put it into recycling though. Put the rest of the ice cream into a cone, and it was a race against time to eat it:rotfl: it was melting quicker than I could eat it so has to double the cone up :o:rotfl:

Sunday was a mixed day, a bit of rain, a bit of sun & warmth, some blue skies & lots of cloud :(
DH did a bit of gardening + changed the netting to chicken wire on the other plant cage & made dinner - cheese sauce with fresh tagliatelle - delicious 😋
I have finished the back of the baby cardigan & cleared down several programmes from my planner but absolutely nothing else apart from the washing up :o Oh, I did release 2 gold finches that got trapped under the smaller cage - no idea how they got in but didn’t want them to cut themselves to ribbons. Saw the bat, fed two foxes & saw Jupiter & the moon :T

I'm using up my toiletries a lot faster now, yesterday the end of a handwash, a body lotion, a tube of toothpaste, a moisturiser and a shaving gel.

I still have a lot to get through. I put another body lotion on the side of the bath to use up this week.

Bottles to recycling today and some stale bread to the birds.

If you have loads that you can't reuse the charity shops usually want them as they can reuse them. Probably the independent ones
that don't have their own bags for customers.

I've not been buying shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc for ages and am getting through the ridiculous stockpile I had. It feels good to use it up.
