nOthing much other than recycling - about twenty items - still doing the floor - but posting here keeps me thinking and eventually I will do more.

Hi, I have been MIA as I have been doing some overtime plus visiting both mum and aunt. Over the weekend I had guests. I made some elderflower cordial, dairy free strawberry ice-cream, fruit pies, fruit crumbles which were enjoyed by all (freezer no 2 looking emptier - been using up last years fruit - getting ready to store this year's).
Have still been decluttering plus I have given the bug to my aunt.
    - old Jeans
    - wok
    - kettle
    - loads of paper and paper packaging
    - instruction booklets
    - old medical letters
    - flowers
    - unwanted DVDs
    - books
    - goggles - they kept filling up when I was swimming yesterday!
    - mouth guards and cases
    - teeth gap cleaners
    - shampoo bottles and shower gel bottles
    - soap packaging
    - make-up bag
    - pop socks
    - bed socks
    - refillable spray bottle
    - shoes
    - unwanted post
    - lip balm ( which I used when I had a cold sore, whilst on holiday)
    - chocolate packaging
    - finished up sherry, port and wine over the last few weeks - bottles recycled.
    - flour bags
Today I decluttered my bedside cabinet and wardrobe.
    Wrote eight birthday cards (homemade).
Wrapped up presents for family - lots of family birthdays over next eight weeks.

Your floor looks fabulous, well done, keep going

    Welcome. Sorry about your mum.

So many people find it easier to do their own houses after having to deal with clearing a relatives house. I think it puts it into perspective , what is useful, what is treasures, what is rubbish, what is excess, what would be better used by someone else etc etc

great idea with the takeaway tubs till a better place materialises.

Fantasy Daisy makes all her own cards.
Daisy buys her cards and stores the making of multiple hundreds of cards in her craft cupboard.

Fantasy Daisy has lots of vintage tea parties.
Daisy stores multiple lovely sets of China and loads of pretty pretty tablecloths she doesn't use a lot as 5 minutes after a pretty one goes on Mr daisy dribbles his tea on it so she usually uses slightly more hard wearing ones. Plus she cant be bothered inviting anyone to the house. So at best it would be Daisy, Big Ted, Tartan Rabbit and Corduroy (a build-a-bear tabby cat who somehow suggested his own rather weird upper class name name (the "u" is pronounced)) propped up round the table plus our 2 recent rescue dogs Big GSD and a mixture commonly known as Stinky Pig (as she has a dodgy digestive system which silently surprises you when she's curled up on the couch beside you) who are always up for a treat. Big GSD is like a land shark circling the table and Stinky Pig is also known as the Carpet Piranha so I'm not sure their manners are quite tea party level. However neither me nor 3 soft toys are hardly likely to complain.

    More has been thrown away.

580 an old shampoo of a son that I used up and binned. It has been in the bathroom months with a tiny amount left in it . It's obviously easier to start a new one . Along the same lines

581 a shower gel of a son used up and binned. I think a couple more to come in this theme too. I wouldn't include one's i buy and use here as I use and bin when finished with.
