Beshki, just a quick post - I get my DH to take them to the Tip to dispose of - Apparently there is a specialist metals bin there. He has taken to hack sawing them into pieces as well.
Hope that helps

Sorry for your loss aliz95.
Mrs Salad Dodger, I love a warmed up dinner so if your Dsis doesn't want it I'll declutter it for you.
I've barely scratched the surface of the front room and after another night of insomnia I'm feeling too pooped to bother today.:o I will start again on Wednesday or maybe a bit tonight if I can be asked.
I'm still happy with my bedroom. It's so comforting and so easy to clean. I can't wait until the whole house is like it. :j1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Third cheerleading session as I am out of the bath - at last :rotfl:
tboo, great bit of decluttering - shelves that have outlived their intended purpose usually end up as clutter hotspots in our house:eek: Now why didn’t I think of taking them down :rotfl: Looks like you have been decluttering drawers & wardrobes :T Yourcs bag must be almost full - Well Done :T
nannywindows, I am soooo impressed :T You have had a mahoosive declutter of photographs - Well Done :T I agree though that there is only so much time that you can spend with photos but it drives you to distraction :rotfl: I am also impressed with 2 cs bags filled & ready for collection :T. Nice to reward yourself with something you enjoy - try not to declutter all the moisture in your skin :rotfl:
somerandom, you have been busy - Well Done :T Some lovely items off to the csShame about the sausages
I think now we are in February the donations from the blitz declutterers willhave slowed down & now us serious declutterers come into our own :rotfl: Decluttering is not just for Christmas :rotfl::rotfl:
stellata, oh the satisfaction of decluttering items that have been hanging around for years - Well Done :T:T Shame you aren’t weighing - China weighs a ton :rotfl:
Onebrokelady, Well Done on the decluttering - especially the fridge magnets :T I have a collection of fridge magnets - mementos of holidays & places visited - which are currently in a box as when I had the kitchen done I had the fridge/freezer boxed inkitchen looks great but now have nowhere for the magnets
Hmm - Project for DH I think :rotfl: make me a nice frame or two to display my fridge magnets
. Wow, just wow 😲 sounds like you have had a complete change of mindset :T and you sound so happy & stress free & even appear to enjoy cleaning :rotfl: I love it - the MK book as a sleep aid - probably earned its cost by that alone :rotfl:
Hermia, You should count the slippers as ‘two’ as you have decluttered future fluff :rotfl: Well Done on bringing some pennies in :T. “Decluttering is interesting” - now THAT speaks to meI have never looked at it like that
Thank you :T
notmy1sttime, Well Done on the make up decluttering :T I had a period of time when I was into nail varnishes etc - so you have inspired me to declutter all the associated paraphernalia (as I can no longer be bothered as it is too time consuming & never looks as good as I would like - Thank You :T
Well Done ScarletRibbons :T & really Well Done on not undoing the work done on your dgd’s room :T her mum must be sooo happy
Only two pages worth of cheerleading left :rotfl: I am off to get dressed & will return later for round 4

Yesterday I cracked on with the procrastination, and cleaned six windows.
One massive cardboard box and its paper packaging crammed into the communal recycling bins. One rug laundered: not being decluttered but instead repurposed to patch the hall (part lumpy concrete, part flood-damaged carpet).
This morning I recycled another four heavy bagfuls of paperwork. Some of which were survivors of 'The Great War on Possessions of 2006'.
:shhh: Magazines from 2004, bank statements from 2001! :shhh:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Hi all, i've had a very productive weekend as finally managed to tackle under my breakfast bar - i had 2 large plastic tubs that mostly contained paperwork - now shredded or recycled; a lever arch file of old recipes - recycled and file binned; half empty bottles of tonic - emptied and recycled; some cook books and notebooks (unused) - all in the charity bag; other random rubbish now binned. i can now get my bar stool out the garage and we can actually sit at the breakfast bar!! This is brilliant for me as i said at the beginning i want to get my bedroom in order to make it calm and peaceful; i often sit in bed with my laptop doing my self employment work. So now i can at least re-claim my bedroom as a non work space! Thanks everyone for your inspiring efforts and sending hugs to those who need them. Decluttered some polystyrene 'snow' into the vacuum. Nothing else will be done today. I have a few more things to sort through but my biggest problem is a full bin. There is no point in sorting through the last bits until I have a bin for anything that needs binning. Will do them Wednesday when I will have an empty bin. I already have a big box of green bin rubbish, so next time the bin is empty it's going to be overflowing again.
Shows I'm getting through it I suppose. :rotfl:

All ready to go, apart from putting shoes on. DH has made me a coffee & I am sitting here getting started on Round 4 of cheerleading
bunty109, bringing items in which are to serve a specific purpose is NOT reclutteringHow on Earth you fit in all that decluttering when working as well is beyond me :rotfl: Your weekends must be exhausting  re your son’s room - a bit of bribery perhaps :rotfl:
parsniphead, if ever there was a reason to declutter ruthlessly - a leaking roof & guttering ranks VERY HIGH :T Will DH be helping with the actual decluttering or just the heavy lifting & disposal? I have complete faith in youbut if you feel yourself flagging, just make yourself a cuppa, read this thread for encouragement & feel free to declutter negative feelings :rotfl: I am looking forward to raising a glass to celebrate your success
It is a very nice dinner
just needs vegetables
Sorry you have had a sleepless night - maybe read MK book :rotfl: like onebrokelady :rotfl: The thing is you have one excellent & successful declutter under your belt :T so you KNOW you can do it. Maybe just take a bin bag or carrier bag into the front room & just fill it with rubbish - do not worry about tidying or moving stuff
If you do this a few times then move onto recycling bags you WILL start to notice a difference
Please do not get disheartened
You are a SUCCESSFUL DECLUTTERER :rotfl:
Sa1sysoo, look at that :T through the 50 barrier, and the 100 & sailed past the 200 barrier :T:T:T Well Done :T:T:T Maybe come on the thread every couple of weeks to keep your enthusiasm topped up & earn some well deserved praise from your fellow declutterers
Phoebe1989SEB, Well Done on NOT decluttering :T:T sorting wheat from chaff - I like it :T & earning a few pennies at the same time
IrishRose12, grrr  our world seems to be a ruder place nowadays & trying to teach you how to e*ay is just plain insulting  However, :T to the lady who offered you more - she was rewarded & you were rewarded with a return of happy feelings & a bit of decluttering :T:T Well Done :T:T. Good luck in the atticLooking forward to reading your weekly posts
. I think you were probably more productive with a nap & completing various tasks off your ‘To Do’ list than going up into the attic :rotfl: After all out of sight out of mind :rotfl:
leelad, how very brave of you - carbooting in cold weatherWell Done on what you managed to declutter & glad you enjoyed your pub lunch
Off to lunch now - so will be back later to continue my cheerleadingThat will teach me not to leave it so long :rotfl:
