Just done weekly check against the budget
    • Car - looking good, even OH week away in Cornwall not costing too much
    • Clothes - still under control
    • Coffee - still showing holiday bounce but should come in only a little over
    • Hobbies - no further spends
    • Entertainment - looking very good, but did do a little more last week including take-out
    • Grocery - looking very good (for us) predicting low £600s which is unheard of
    • Holiday - OH had some days out in Cornwall, but cafe lunch territory
    • Kids settled down a little, and started to see some coming back
    • Household costs are lower as well, still decluttering

Hi , just wanted to say I really enjoy reading your diary - humour plus practicalities especially with your kids. I shall gloss over the cricket result.. With 2 Tasmanians in the Aussie Test team I was hoping for a different outcome. Ah well always another Ashes series.
Cheers and keep on posting Baglady1
