please bear with as I get through this decidedly dull period of work related busy-ness - it should be over in a few more weeks, and then I can resume boring you about my obsession with numbers and actually walk more than 100 yards at a time

    Steps 3800
Veggie no because a dinner date with the colonel and one of his buckets at my hotel
Weight - fruit cake and a bucket so on balance not a great day
NSD - although £1 in the charity cake sale

Save/make - got a better than expected result in annual appraisals which will convert into jam tomorrow, but not today
clean/fix - did the bins before I left home - not much

posting early today as am going out later to see some old friends - kind of an annual thing

also have to confess a bit of a splurge, we went out as my DD2 had come back from Uni as her work had given her some time off work as she had been covering for lots. the plan was to go to a place around 15 miles away near where my OH had to be for a craft show. Sadly when we got there it was closed for hot food, and we didn't fancy a sandwich. So on the way back we stopped at an old favourite we hadn't been to for years and had a lovely lunch, but at double the cost, as it had gone significantly upmarket.

My confession is that even with that scenario I just decided to not worry about the cost and have a nice meal with what we fancied, including pudding and coffee. That probably added another £30 to the bill so instead the originally planned treat at £50 it was nearly double that.

But it was lovely!!. Probably my most flagrant breach of MSE discipline this year - ho hum! But definitely a "if this is wrong I don't want to be right" moment. Will undertake to try and make amends over next few weeks.

My initial 1 week into the month check is looking OK, so maybe it won't end in tears

as a guess Steps will be 3500, will be HSD, will not be veggie and it willbe unhealthy

    catch up with you tomorrow!!

    Thank you - it was
To confirm numbers for yesterday - I did 3900 steps, not veggie, HSD, and yes I have a headache - which the cat purring very loudly as she snoozes on my lap is not really helping with

    Numbers today

    Steps - 1500
LSD - just a top up at Mr L
Veggie - No - OH fancied roast and who was I to argue
Weight/Health - Self inflicted, but mostly cleared by an afternoon nap while OH was out and DD2 was preparing for going out before heading back to uni

Save/Make - didn't give DD2 £20 to see her on her way as I usually do as she has got a paycheck fresh in the bank and we overspent yesterday - so feel a bit cheap but I'll get over it

    Clean/Fix - laundry and dishwash

    Numbers today

Steps - 3700 - walked to the hotel from the office
NSD - packed lunch and hotel
Veggie - No - menu was bit rubbish so went with a burger
    Weight/Health - feeling better today

    Save/Make - Nope
    Clean/Fix - Nope

    Steps - 3500 - lunch time walk
NSD - packed lunch and hotel
Veggie - No - burger was a bit rubbish but was a burger
Weight/Health - feeling better today - but 2 pints when was only expecting one

Save/Make - burger was so rubbish (missing key elements) I had to complain so I told them to just replace it all - and majestically swept my empty beer glass into the deal - one free pint later all is forgiven - my life rocks
Clean/Fix - Nope - had that all done for me today - the hotel website would only let me book three individual days rather than one three day stay, hence they have to clean the room fully every day and I have to check in every day (same room by the way). I think I am up on the deal, as I usually dont bother
