    hi pinkgem
found this on ebay uk community board.

1 visit this http://shopebay.com/ - click opt out

2 clear cookies from your browser

    3 close browser and reopen

4 if you're lucky and don't get picked again - should be back to normal

Haven't tried this myself as I don't know how to clear cookies but I'll get OH to try when he comes in.
can you let everyone know if this works?
    thanks:confused:

    I can't see a Opt out option:confused:

    1) "You Won" confirmation emails don't contain ANY seller information anymore.
No seller ID, no item no.
I use the Seller ID or item number to search my emails.
I bought something today, and the 'You won' email contained Item number, Item URL, Seller ID, and seller address!
    Same as always.

Congrats! you,me, and 10% of ebayers are taking part in ebay's new search format trial. Loads of unhappy ebayers have given their views on ebay community boards and they all say the same NEw format is awful.I read on one of the boards that you can opt out of the trial but can't find the opt out button on my ebay. I have sent 3 emails over the past 2 days 1 telling them my views and the other 2 begging to get my old ebay back. I don't want to trial it but it seems that I have no option.
To be honest, I don't want to be used as a guinea pig & am losing interest.

I get fedup when they have another fancy redesign & people are left floundering, wasting time trying to find simple good working features they were used to.

I don't want to spend hours or days relearning how ebay works !!

Has the ebay feedback policy changed already? I'm trying to leave feedback for a buyer but keeps saying I'm forbidden from doing so?

Even when feedback policy changes ,you can still leave feedback for buyers ,just not negative or neutral.
I have left buyers feedback today

The format has changed a few times since November.
The problem emails are the ones with "You've Won ...." in the subject, not the "You Won ..." emails.

It does now show Seller ID, but still does not always show full seller address.
The item number is not shown in the body of the email, only in the subject.

Again the emails are now being used for further ebay marketing rather than providing all essential information about MY purchases.

Ebay is becoming a joke, using everything in its power to push further sales:

-ebay listings taking longer to load as other items for sale are pushed to display on the listing page

-purchase emails with other nonsense you may not want to see
