Do you do surveys etc? You might be able to soften up the present budget a bit if you can earn a few vouchers.

I'm sure you'll figure it out Aaliegha. Surveys are a great way to earn a few pounds.

Could you do a bit of tutoring to help cover the gap? My other suggestion is rescue some chickens. The initial outlay of coop is high but corn/pellets reasonable and all kitchen scraps can be boiled to supplement their diet. you could sell them through an honesty box? One of my local friends has got 10 rescue hens and her teenage children look after them and they save the cash for their driving lessons. They sell 10 x 1/2 dozen at £1.50 a box every week and spares go into their own kitchen.

That's a really good point and also what about the market research companies? I make about £10 a month in vouchers from mine and it only takes a minute or so to zap the shopping each time. I usually get 4maz0n vouchers but have also used them for Argos - it means little bits for the house or occasional books are free.

I just want to thnk you all for all the help and ideas

I would love some rescued chickens BUT the garden is not huge and we have six dogs might have to sort something over the car park opposite could even put them tobed in the lock up over night so the foxes cant get in ( its an old container like you get on the docks)

\i think with the bipolar and anxiety I am going to be panicking, over what some consider trifles but to me and most of you they are not and with your help I will find a way around this - eg amazon vouchers can go towards christmas and gifts so meaning that will free up cash for something else

your supporting is amazing thank you

Hi Aaleigha. I subscribed to your diary days ago and could have sworn I'd popped in to say hello, but it doesn't look like it. Anyway, here I am saying hello

It sounds like you have a really exciting time ahead of you and also quite a stressful time, but I'm sure you'll get there.

DD suffers with anxiety so I completely understand when you say what somebody considers a trifle is actually very important to you. When she's having a not so good day it's amazing how she can blow out of proportion what I would consider a 'little worry/problem'. Thankfully it doesn't happen very often as she's on medication now, but to see her stressing and crying about something, knowing whatever we say isn't going to help - in fact we seem to make it worse at times by offering solutions :( is heartbreaking to witness. I can't imagine what it must feel like for people who suffer with this.

Anyway, wishing you luck with your venture. Have a lovely day. x

I slept from about 2-9.3 but only because I took a sleeping tablet
And today is one just full of tears
It is as it is. There is no reason to be this low I just am

    So this week
    We, well I have
    Massage and nail mend tomorrow
Thursday docs at ten (my needs might need tweaking) she nay but I hope not send me to psych hospital I do hope not but if I must go I will
Then in the afternoon contact and eye test
If there is no change I won't get new frames as I love these

Hopefully the house deeds will turn up this week but who knows I am sure the low long is a bit of string is in the equation somewhere but I swear they changed it to elastic

Have given myself a totally truthful looking at
I am a hoarder and everyone suffers for that

I have got rid of more stuff to the charity shop and friends than any three bed house should contain

I have read the Mari kondo books and seen the vids the only thing I can take from there is the folding that is fantastic and doing it now

Admitting that I can't do housework at my age is so embarrassing ( que tears here yes real ones as mood is so low)

So I am looking for a housework system that will work for me
Will practice now and the new home will never got like this one

The layout of the house is
A back lobby well wide corridor that houses the gas boiler and our tumble drier will go out there then round a corner to c wards the kitchen door
Dogs will have a paw washing and drying station so paws are clean before they enter the house human boots and coats and do coats and leads will all be left there
From the kitchen we have a small back lobby with wc opposite the door into the WC is shelving onto which all dog food preserves and recipe books

Back not kitchen is a door directly into the lounge with the front door opposite this is a longish but narrow room
So one wall has kitchen door the wall to the right has a closed up fire lace to be opened. Wall opposite kitchen is front door and the other wall has the staircase and the door to the dinning room that room will be little used
So the down stairs is not going to be difficult to keep clean and tidy as long as I put away as soon as finished with something and a mop of hard floors and vacuum of others
Up stairs 2 hobby rooms mine our bedroom a dressing room and ensuite as long as bathroom

The place is going to be easy to clean I just need a routine and think I need to do it even if we are inpacking

I have just been given a copy of (yes new coming in whilst packing) Side Tracked Home Executives
Daughter thought it would be good for me due to the amount of lists I can make - see ANOTHER avoidance tactic, I am like the school child with the forever blunt pencil

So anyone else with any good ideas what house work system do you use

First huddle put everything away before I go to bed this is my first target so it's habit before moving

If I can keep finances in order why not housekeeping

Right off to read a bit more of the book, at least if nothing else it makes me smile

Thanks for being here the kettle is always on here and baking is fresh

Yes your daughter sounds like me and so often people who suffer find there is so much happening at the same time we freeze and it gets worse

When your daughter is in a good place sit her down and explain that you cannot comprehend what is happening BUT you can see the distress it causes but also know trying to help can have the opposite effect tell her gently you want to do anything that will help her but rather than get it wrong what would be a good approach for you to take
Eg can an early intervention help if so tell her to ask
If nothing helps then tell her you love her and you can catch her on the way down and help her but the pieces back together

If which I suspect she won't know either perhaps counselling to understand how she can help herself and let others help

If she is on meds then they are not doing all they could do

Sorry but I can't think of anything else to suggest at the moment but if I do I will defo let you know xx

And give her a hug from me she needs it xx

Have you had a look at flylady on here? You could start by just doing level one each day. It's manageable then.
