    Budgets updated to here

Welcome to all the new joiners and returners!

I've done my second week's shop of the month and come in slightly over my planned budget at £31.59. I had to buy a few bits for my friend and she's bought me odd bits in the past, so I refused to take any money. But it came to about £4 so actually I'd have been under budget if it wasn't for that. I've adjusted my remaining week's budget to account for the extra. Still do-able if I keep planning like I have been.
On the menu this week is:
    Lunches:
    Chipotle Corn Chowder x3
    Moroccan Chickpea Soup x3
    Teas:
    Smoky Vegan Sausage Pasta x1
Sriracha Tofu Stir Fry with Noodles x2
    Mushroom Macaroni x3

YorksLass Thanks - I like the idea of a freezer fund and I'm going to do this too. What usually happens is that as I start to run the freezer down I panic because it looks empty and fill it back up again :o If I know that I have money put away to do a freezer shop I think I will be more relaxed about using all the stuff in there.

So..... out of my £50 per week I'm hoping for no more that £40 on food, £5 saved for freezer stock up and £5 saved towards special occasions food (like birthdays etc).
  • Please can I be put down for £200

I have sooooo much in the freezer and stores so going to do a stock take tomorrow before I buy a single thing!!

I know I have LOADS of fish so need to hunt out some new recipes else we will be getting bored 😂
