A new chapter begins.
No magic tips on moving other than declutter ruthlessly. How do you be ruthless? I am about to go in my wardrobe and have a clear out been meaning to do this for a while now. Just cleaned behind the freestanding cooker... yuck... I now won't feel embarrassed when that gets pulled out

Unless of course you or your family know someone with a van.I called an old friend last night, I said I am giving you two weeks warning... he thought I had corona! then when I told him I am moving, well more of a shouted it down the phone to him, he was just as elated as me. He has seen my moans rants videos and other posts on facebook over the years, so is well aware of the situation. He is going to help, and knows a few people with vans who he will get to help for 'petrol' money. It's the fear of my beautiful bright red Smeg fridge freezer getting damaged somehow, I have told him it is my 'baby'.Hopefully I will have access to a man with a van for the white goods and other large stuff, mum has a 7 seater car thing that is a tardis. it might take many trips but as it is 3 miles away its not the end of the world if that is the case. Why are white goods so big heavy and a pain to move?

I have just bought some box's, tape and bubble wrap from @mazon. We will be booking movers as we are moving from a three bed house to a four bed townhouse. I am having a clear out this weekend, but having to book appointments at the top is an absolute pain, and charity shops are only taking stuff on certain days.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1

So far managed to get boxes of Facebook market place for free, and pad £5 for a roll of bubble wrap.Have packed up the living room, kitchen I have started, but run out of suitable size boxes have really big one left, have emptied all the base unit cupboards had a clear out and wiped the cupboards down. Two black bags of clothes I do not like anymore went to charity shop, have a pile of books and other bits to go, alas charity shops are full up and not talking donations, items are in the car boot, so I have tured into a crazy stop and ask lady everytime I see a charity shop!I brought a pair of boots today when asking in one charity shop, they have hardly been warn were £6.50 and so lovelyI never realised how stressful moving is, all you are doing is putting stuff into boxes! I am trying to be super ruthless and live in a minimalist home...In other news, I started a clothes making course the other week, had my 2nd class last night, Making a pair of casual trousers, well a PJ bottom pattern and using everyday fabric. Actually enjoying the class, annoying thing is mum knows how to do it all, but she cannot teach and we end up arguing, hence why I decided to do the class. Also getting me out and giving me a project.Job hunting, I haven't looked been too busy with boxesMoney: still poor but have payments under controlAspiring to be financially independent.... from my parents!0
