    A 6yo Fiesta won't have keyless entry/start.

The ST's (ST-2's and 3's) certainly did and also the Titanium X.

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good anti theft device I can buy for my car?

    I've got a Fiesta Zetec S - 2012 model.

Apparently it has a built in immobiliser already, but I want to increase the security if I can.

Someone recommended an OBD lock, but I'm not sure how these work?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

    Thanks.

Ask the person who gave you the recommendation to explain how it works, particularly in relation to your car. ;)

    Here are some other suggestions:

A pedal box safe - not a device that will prevent all theft, but any thief won't be able to drive the car away whilst fitted

This is perhaps the most effective solution to deter car theft

If it's got keyless entry and start then in some areas there's a high risk.

https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/west-midlands-most-stolen-cars-14952141[/QUOTE I know a few people that have sadly had their cars stolen, NONE of them were keyless, people were stealing cars long before keyless systems.

Nope, as suggested above a whole wheel cover such as Disklok and even a wheel clamp will at the very least act as a deterrent and send the thief to a less well protected vehicle.

Both of those can be removed in under 30 seconds with nothing more than a battery powered drill or angle grinder.

Yes, lots of people have been the victim of a millenium style theft.

Yes I know I can read. I was talking about AdrianC's statement that 6 year old Fiesta's weren't a target and didn't have keyless entry/start.

I somewhat doubt that especially with the Disklok. But it is about deterrents, if the neighbours car hasn't got those devices fitted then they'll likely opt for theirs rather an yours.

    30 seconds?
Oh, there are much quicker ways to take a car than that if you really want it
