Must admit I'm a bit of a heathen reading the news etc.... been catching up today, depressing reading! The whole energy thing is bad... I fixed for 2 years just before it all kicked off, but am sure it'll catch up with us at some point
and as for BoJo... blimey.

Lucky you fixing at the right time - you just *could* be lucky and mostly ride it out…fingers crossed for you!
Boo to covid AGAIN though - what a nuisance. Fingers crossed you continue to feel fine. Hopefully you did manage to pass it onto plenty of the non mask wearing (and not exempt, just being “Ahh soles” ones obviously) by way of teaching a lesson, although sadly as you were presumably wearing a mask you may not have been as effective as you’d hope there! The number of people yet again behaving like it’s all over and/or they’re untouchable is grinding my gears again!

I managed to fix for 2years at the beginning of October. Yes it went up but nowhere near as much as many others. When Martin starting saying dont fix I thought I had done the wrong thing but now I am not so sure as the dd only went up about £25.00. I thinkl I got in just in time.

Thanks EH, SH and LH
Still feeling completely fine, a tad tired maybe but that may just be lethargy from being stuck in the house. DH now also positive (and completely fine).. we now have to daily LFT the kids and eldest two will have to drop off and pick up youngest two. DH will just carry on working his normal hours, so won't make a massive difference to him.
We were with bu!b and fixed with one of the big guys... our DD stayed the same and seems to be on track so far, might have to increase slightly due to copious winter usage and DH working from home still, but no more than £15-20.
Our mortgage rate is also fixed, but we'll be hit by any council tax rises and NI rise in April will be painfulDFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)
