Hardy has production if I remember right, alot of disappointment with no recent discoveries. Centamin has gold production and might increase reserves or improve returns
Cairn produces in india but is selling it to explore in iceland

Faroe is in north sea, I think they got production or least the oil in place and also exploring for more

As you haven't given any monetary purchase cost / current value info I can only suggest selling half before April 6th and half after (this assumes you want to sell them all now(ish)).

Hello, this is my first post and I'm looking for some advice please. I have some shares that I would like to sell and they are based in the US. Could anyone advise me on who I can contact to sell them without having to set up a subscription? There's not many shares to sell and it would be a one-off transaction.

Jude, what matters is not where the company is based but where their shares are traded, many companies are traded on more than one stock exchange. Have you checked to see if they are listed on the London exchange?
If they are, then a visit to a larger branch of your bank, with the share certificate, may be all that you need to do to sell them. It may not be the cheapest way, online brokers are often cheaper but there is the inconvenience of setting up an account, getting the shares into that account and possibly any fees for doing that - as you appear to be aware but it's best to say it anyway.

In 2001 I bought about 9000 shares in millwall holdings plc as they were only a couple of pence each. how much are they worth and do I still have 9000 or have they been consolidated to nothing?

If they have been consolidated you would have thought I would have been informed.

The good news is that the shares are now worth 730p each.

The bad news is that there was a 1:100,000 consolidation in Oct last year, so I would assume that you either own one share (if fractional entitlements were rounded up) or none (if they were rounded to the nearest whole share).

If you held them in certificated form, I would have expected they would have written to you.
