I'll remember that for future reference then. Do you have any idea of what kind of witness statement they'll send. I'm quite intrigued by this as it's an unmanned car park?

Likely the template nonsense you can find by looking for either the solicitors name on here, or the PPC if they dont use a solicitor.

Just a quick update on this we're due in court in May. I've luckily come across someone else who couldn't enter their reg either on the same machine and have a copy of the machine printout for that as well. Also I don't think they've actually proven who was driving at the time of entering the car park.

You haven’t shown us your Defence or Witness Statement for critique and advice. Presumably you’ve got them both boxed off and in good order?

You can’t take ‘ambush’ evidence to present at court on the day.

Have you submitted your WS yet?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Good.

Let's see your WS and evidence and do wait till a day before the deadline (does the court letter say not later than 14 days prior to the hearing?) to submit it, in case you get the Claimant's WS and evidence first.

Always good to wait and grab a chance to demolish their case in your WS!

Just been into court we were only in there literally 2 minutes and the judge dismissed it straight away and awarded costs.

Fantastic. Well done! Now enjoy the rest of your day.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Which court and Judge, and did he/she even look at the evidence to make that decision? Any indication why she struck it out, was it because the signs were pants or was it because the claimant didn't turn up and he/she was unimpressed with their conduct?

He took one look at the evidence which was the ticket the machine had printed out as I explained that the machine wouldn't let me put the vrn in. He said he was more than happy that we had paid to park there and hadn't over stayed our welcome. It was Judge Dawson at Lancaster magistrates
